Chapter-32: quick hunting for quick results
The magic bone is just like the slime monster core it is useful in crafting some specific items that are not important at this moment. She went straight to the third room and here she found it was slightly tricky.
What she saw are two level 3 monster goblins guarding this place. They are hard to kill in quick fight but Ratika is not worried. She is going to stun them using the muscle relaxant she used on the protagonist.
She took out two air soft guns with muscle relaxant and carefully aimed at the two goblins that are carrying two rusted daggers and without much armor on them. This muscle relaxant would not kill them.
It would only temporarily stun them for a few moments. That is enough for Ratika to kill these two goblins. She took the time when they both arrive at the same location and made the shot using the air soft gun.
"Sui… Sui… Phat… Phat… Kreee… Kreee…"
Both the goblins entered the stunned state and cannot move for a few moments that are around 15 seconds to be exact. It is different outside but here the materials would follow the dungeon RPG rules.
Ratika carried to iron spears and went straight to them and plunged those metal spears straight into their heats directly and pinned them to the ground on the spot. They screamed and struggled but Ratika became stronger compared to yesterday.
So naturally she held the spear hard till they both died and the dungeon coin sack fell out. After getting it Ratika put them straight into her space and instead she poured some dirty water on the ground making it look like there are slime monsters here.
There is a wooden treasure chest in this room and Ratika did not go there to pick its lock instead she went forward to see the next room. When she came here she saw that this room has a goblin that is holding a pair of bow and arrows.
It is wearing soft leather armor and looked quite powerful. It is a goblin archer monster of level 4. This room has stairs leading to the next floor and there is also an iron treasure chest. Ratika saw this and decided to take care of this goblin.
This time she did not use the air soft gun because the archer is quite far away and the room is circular with many opening. That is entrances for other adventurers to come here. Ratika is going to use the spell bright flash to make the monster blind and kill it by attacking it.
She took out the cross bows that are loaded with metal arrows and there are still 10 inside her space. She would first use bright flash and start running towards the stunned monster. When she reached the range she would use the cross bows to shoot.
When the cross bows shot she would switch to new ones and shoot again. This monster goblin archer of level 4 has more Health points compared because it is a boss level monster. So she shot a big row of arrows to kill the goblin.
Currently the goblin is no different than a stationary target because it was stunned. The stun time for the spell is only 10 seconds which is not much but Ratika shot 10 arrows in those 10 seconds. All 10 are metal arrows with strong power in them.
Even with the leather armor the goblin could not bear this kind of thing. Also Ratika appeared in front of the goblin by the end and plunged the steel spear into its body killing it completely. All of this completed within 10 seconds of time.
What surprised Ratika is that this goblin is not holding an ordinary bow and arrow. They are special magic artifacts. The arrows have higher damage value and the bow has wind elemental magic bonus that can go towards the target.
This is clearly arranged for the protagonist to get. Ratika put it in her space leaving the body of the goblin and carefully collected all the spent arrows and other things. After that she went straight to the iron treasure chest and started to pick its lock.
It only took her 2 minutes to pick its lock and others are still struggling to kill the slimes at this moment. She found that there is no trap inside the iron treasure chest. Instead there are many good things.
She did not have time to check on them all. Instead she put them in her space to check them later. She went towards the direction where the protagonist should appear. Irrespective of that she went to kill the goblins in the room using the previous trick.
Then she disposed their bodies using the same trick from before and took these goblins to the room with the stairs to drop them there. Then she picked the lock of the wooden treasure chest in the pathway of the protagonist.
Under the pressure she was able to pick the lock of the treasure chest quickly. Because she did it in less time and quick work under the pressure she received more skill based experience points. She did not have time to check on them.
She picked the lock and took precaution by opening it which is like an ingrained habit. Finding that there is no trap she took the contents and left this place. She quickly returned to the passage way that belongs to her and started to pick the lock there.
Also she did not forget to drop the corpses of two goblins along with the two other goblins on the passage way leading to the boss room. It is not hard for protagonist to guess the situation. But Ratika would not stay here for long for him to discover the problem.
Ratika would leave here after picking up the lock of the wooden treasure chest on her side. With better experience it was very easy for her to pick the lock of the wooden treasure chest. Then she once again showed the cautious side.
