Chapter-8: knocking out and tying Robert with iron chains
The stairs behind him vanished after he left this room into the long corridor or way that looked like an uneven oval shaped cave. He moved forward, he did not enter other room because his target is to get close to his body guard Robert.
He has covered himself up carefully and his senses are good as he carefully moved forward. Since he knows that there is no danger in the passage way he walked more confidently and also with less sound with faster speed towards the location where Robert would appear later.
He can clear the floor later and get extra points after he killed more creatures that is the share of Robert as long as he knocked out Robert. With that in mind he moved and saw a sharp turn at the end of the corridor after passing few other passages that leads to cave rooms.
One of them has stairs that leads to the second floor. He did not stop and moved along. Other players or adventurers that entered the dungeon for the first time would stop and check the rules carefully before moving.
So Robert did not come out of his starting point yet and he moved close to the starting point of the other party with his fastest speed and silently peeked into the room that is the starting point of other player.
He saw Robert looking at the notification screen with a frown. He understood the rules and he is imagining something in his mind looking at the status panel. Visva did not go in instead he took out the prepared materials out of space.
He started a fire outside that released lot of smoke filling up this end of the corridor he then went back to the sharp corner with his gas mask and took out the knock out medicine he prepared as extra. That smoke is not a normal one either.
It is also a knock out medicine. He doesn't know if it would work on the body guard Robert that has protagonist aura. So he made extra preparations just in case. Soon after few moments Robert walked out of the room. The starting point is like a safe area.
The adventurer that appeared at the starting point is protected from all things before he or she steps out of that room. Once they stepped out the protection would be gone and there will be no safe area left.
As soon as Robert came out of the room he was hit in the face by thick smoke. He looked down at the fire and did not understand what is happening. But instinctively he covered his nose. Visva that saw him used the mechanical air soft gun to shoot him with a knock out medicine.
After all, the technologically advanced items that work with electricity or circuit boards would not work here. Robert was covered with smoke and confused. So he did not notice someone shooting at him from a sharp corner.
He still tried to dodge it and also cover his vitals at the last moment. So the shot that should hit him on the stomach actually hit his arm. But still it is not a damage dealing thing instead it is a knock out medicine.
He tried to find cover in the room behind him. Visva did not go to check immediately. He checked his mechanical watch to set the time of 5 minutes. Before the 5 minutes are up he would not move and wait for Robert to come out.
He not only applied a knock out medicine but also some muscle relaxant to the shot. Even if one did not work the other one would work. When facing a lucky person you should use all your strength and should not act like a stupid villainess.
Time ticked slowly and he carefully heard for the movements from the corridor. When 5 minutes are up he slowly walked over to with control over his movements making very less sound.
He put the smoke creating thing into his space directly. He made this smoke using a basin with dried leaves in it. The time in his space is stagnant and he can preserve it to use it later in another place.
He put it away and walked into the safe room that lost its safety function. He saw Robert on the ground that was knocked unconscious after dragging his body to a corner lying down with his eyes closed. Visva did not believe that he is knocked out completely.
But no matter what the muscle relaxant should work after so long. He went over and found that Robert was sound asleep. He went to him and took out iron chains to lock his hands and neck carefully before sighing of relief.
With the chains on hand he directly dragged Robert behind him all the way to the end of the corridor and left him there. Now it is time for the important thing that is to clear the dungeon floor.
He started to clear the dungeon from the side of the Robert. First he went to the room on the left side of the corridor. The monster inside the room is a simple slime. It is a very weak monster and also the tricky one too.
One has to know how to deal with it to solve it. If not it would consume your stamina really quickly without any result. All slimes are slightly acidic and if the human body or meat is in contact with for a long time it would start causing burning reaction.
It is like acid falling on the hand. Water based spells are useless against slimes. Fire based spells if they are stronger has some use. If the slime becomes more viscous because of fire spell then its corrosive power increases causing more damage if they are splashed.
