"Is he okay?" Jian Rui asked, his voice sharp with urgency.
Yu Xi opened his mouth to answer, but Jian Ci, unhappy with being ignored, pressed closer. Like a massive dog desperate for its owner's attention, he nuzzled against Yu Xi's neck, arms wrapped tightly around him.
