Sans sleeps on the Sunny, calm for once.
A shadow flickers.
A warped voice echoes softly:

Sans opens one eye.

The presence vanishes instantly, like it was never there.
Luffy looks around, confused.

Sans quietly pulls out a worn picture and shows it to Luffy.

"Who's that tall guy?"

The smile never reaches his eyes.

Sans slips the picture away.
> "Because… he knows me."

Sans leans back, eyes half-lidded.
> "Got a theory."
Luffy listens, unusually quiet.
> "He could be my older brother…
or maybe something like a father."
He shrugs.
> "Not by blood.
By creation."
Luffy blinks.
> "That's… kinda heavy."
Sans gives a tired smile.
> "Yeah. Guess family gets complicated."
