The battlefield, still marked by the traces of the final attack, was now under the control of the Guardians and their servants. The surviving demons, guided by Azrakel and Morvath, now marched alongside the servants, closely monitored to prevent any rebellion.
Kaelen watched the scene carefully:
> "Lord Tavric, ensure that all enemy units are gathered and under control. No escape is permitted."
Tavric nodded, directing his servants and the now-loyal Demon Kings to strategic positions around the plains and villages. Each demon was placed to defend Verdalis and reinforce the natural defenses of the kingdom.
Azrakel, his voice full of respect, addressed Lord Ryo:
> "Lord Ryo… we will follow your orders and ensure that Verdalis suffers no harm. Our power will now serve this kingdom and your Guardians."
Morvath added:
> "Any future offensive against Verdalis will be repelled with the combined strength of our armies. You can count on us."
Lord Ryo, still at the center of the Isolation, observed the scene, his golden aura radiating calm and authority.
> "Very well…" he said slowly. "From now on, Verdalis is protected not only by its Guardians and their servants, but also by those who once threatened it. The real war has only just begun, but you will all stand united."
Kaelen, feeling the residual energy of the battle carried by the wind, murmured:
> "Verdalis is safe… for now. But we must remain vigilant. The shadow of the Demon Kings has not disappeared, only transformed."
Tavric added:
> "The coordination of our forces, combined with Lord Ryo's power, will make any future attack predictable and controllable. The kingdom now has a chance to prosper like never before."
The servants and the loyal Demon Kings began to reorganize their ranks, clearing the battlefield and securing the surroundings. The Isolation, still active, maintained the area under maximum protection, allowing Verdalis to breathe after the ordeal.
For the first time since the invasion began, a relative silence settled over the plains. But everyone knew that this calm was only temporary. The next offensives, though repelled, would come, and Verdalis needed to prepare for new challenges.
> "Prepare yourselves…" murmured Kaelen, scanning the horizon. "With Lord Ryo and our new allies, we will be ready to face anything the darkness dares to send."
