Chapter 30 - Divinity

Aiden awoke slowly, the sunlight filtered softly through the enchanted windows of Victor's mansion. His body ached from the previous night's battles, yet there was a warmth that pulled him from sleep.

Something unusual pressed against his neck and shoulders — three sensations, rhythmic and insistent. Blinking, he noticed three pairs of glowing eyes staring at him, fangs sunk gently into his flesh.

Confusion clouded his thoughts. "What… what are you doing?" he stammered.

Pulling back, he saw Selene, Lilith, and Ophis hovering around him, their faces flushed, eyes soft yet serious. Blood dripped faintly from his arm, but none of them looked aggressive.

Ophis's emerald eyes met his, calm yet commanding. "Aiden… this is why you feel the strength you now have. When we drink from each other, our bond strengthens. Our blood intertwines with yours, awakening and stabilizing the powers that surged last night."

Selene added softly, "It's more than just power. It's trust, protection… and connection. We're bound now. That's why you don't feel weak with us nearby."

Lilith's cheeks heated slightly, still embarrassed by her own hunger. "I… I didn't mean to confuse you. But it works both ways. Now we share strength, even instinctively."

Aiden stared at them, slowly comprehending. His mind still reeled from the battle, his lightning powers, and now… the bonds he had never expected.

Before he could respond, a sudden gust of wind tore through the room. Shadows whipped into shape, and a figure moved with impossible speed, vanishing and reappearing like a living storm.

"Scathach Scarlett." Ophis murmured, her voice tinged with awe.

The strongest female vampire, Victor's top-tier wife and his personal trainer, landed gracefully in front of him. Her eyes glimmered dangerously. Without warning, she swooped past the group and snatched Victor, who had been watching silently from the shadows.

"Motherf—" Lucien muttered under his breath, smirking. "She never wastes time."

The group followed, Aiden leading the way. They arrived at the dojo room, where Victor awaited, seated calmly despite the chaos around him. His crimson eyes met Aiden's, and for the first time since the battle, he spoke directly to the boy.

"What if the Church followed us here?" Aiden asked immediately, concern threading his voice.

Victor leaned back, a faint smile curling on his lips. "Do not worry, child. The entire family… we are divine. The Church's holy weapons, their sacred tools — they cannot touch us."

Aiden blinked, incredulous. "Divine?"

"Yes," Victor confirmed, his voice firm. "Our blood carries a piece of the celestial. That is why I warned you before — Lilith's wounds were not from holy weaponry's failure, but because she is half-demon. That vulnerability is unique to her heritage. Her demon blood reacts differently to divine energy, making her susceptible. But the rest of us? Immune."

Aiden processed this slowly. Lightning powers, blood manipulation, Night King awakening… and now divinity itself coursing through his veins. "So… I'm… part of all this?"

Victor's gaze softened, yet his tone remained commanding. "You are at the center of this storm. Your bond with Selene, Lilith, and Ophis strengthens you. The Church, the witches, even the other supernatural families… none of them can fully comprehend what stands before them. But understand this, Aiden: your Night King blood, your bonds, your divinity — all of it is now yours to wield. Carefully, wisely… or recklessly, as you please."

Aiden's eyes flicked toward the three girls beside him. They nodded gently, silently reaffirming the connection he now felt.

"And Lilith…" Aiden asked cautiously, "does this mean she's always going to be vulnerable?"

Victor shook his head. "No. With training, control, and awareness of her dual heritage, she will become stronger than most. But always remember — her demon side is what makes her special, and what makes her blood resonate uniquely with yours."

Lightning arced across Aiden's hands, trembling slightly from excitement and power. He clenched his fists. "Then I won't let anyone hurt them again. Not ever."

Victor's smirk deepened. "Good. That is the first lesson of divinity: protection is as important as strength."

Outside, the night remained calm, but the air thrummed with the lingering tension of the Church, witches, and supernatural beings watching from afar. Aiden, bound by blood and now aware of the divine weight in his veins, stood ready.
