Chapter 10: Kanji's Secret
The world seemed to freeze in place.
From a distance, Iris, Hyana, Ueno, and Ron had witnessed it—Ryo collapsing into the arms of that man.
Tears. Real tears streaming down the boy who never allowed himself to show weakness.
Iris whispered, her voice trembling:
"…Ryo? Crying?"
Hyana's eyes widened.
"I–I've never seen him like that…"
Ueno clenched her fists nervously.
"But… why with a man like him?"
Ron stood silent, his jaw tight, fists trembling.
"…Damn it."

The Dormitory – Later That Night
The four sat together in heavy silence. The air was thick with tension.
Finally, Ueno broke it.
"Who is that man? Why would Ryo run to him and… cry like that?!"
Hyana's voice shook.
"Wasn't he supposed to be in prison? Everyone knows he was locked up…"
Ron avoided their eyes, sweat beading on his forehead.
"He… disappeared from the country for years. Everyone just assumed he was imprisoned, but… the truth is, nobody ever knew."
Iris slammed her hand on the table, her eyes burning with determination.
"Then there's only one person who can tell us the truth—Teacher Kazuki."

The four entered the room with grim faces.

"Years ago, Kanji vanished. To protect the school and the students, we spread the story that he was imprisoned. But the truth… is that he escaped."

رون (يغلق قبضته): "… اللعنة."

الأربعة يجلسون مع بعض، الجو ثقيل ومشحون.
أوينو: "مين هذا الرجل أصلًا؟ كيف ريو يركض لعنده ويبكي؟!"
هينا: "مو المفروض إنه كان بالسجن؟! كل الناس تعرف إنه انحبس…"
رون يسكت، يتعرق: "هو… اختفى من البلد فترة طويلة. الكل كان يظن إنه محبوس، لكن الحقيقة ما حدا يعرفها."
إيريس تضرب الطاولة: "إذن لازم نعرف القصة من شخص واحد فقط… المعلم كازوكي."

المشهد 3 – (مكتب المعلم كازوكي)
الأربعة يدخلون المكتب، وجوههم جدية.
إيريس: "أستاذ… بدنا نعرف الحقيقة عن كانتشي."
كازوكي يتجمد، يشيح بوجهه.
رون (بإصرار): "أنت الوحيد اللي تقدر تشرح لنا. ريو رح ينهار إذا ما عرفنا شو القصة."

كازوكي يتنهد بعمق، ثم يفتح درج مكتبه ويخرج ملفًا قديمًا.
يضعه أمامهم.
كازوكي: "كناتشي… لم يكن يومًا رجلًا عاديًا. ماضيه ملطخ بالعنف، والجرائم. ريو… لم يعش طفولة طبيعية، بل تربى تحت يده."
الكل ينصدم، يحدق بالملف.
كازوكي يكمل: "اختفى من البلد منذ سنوات. قلنا للطلاب والناس إنه انحبس بالسجن… لكن الحقيقة أنه هرب."

المشهد 5 – (الخاتمة)
إيريس تضع يدها على فمها: "يعني… ريو عاش طفولته كلها مع رجل مجرم؟!"
أوينو تهز رأسها: "هذا يفسر كل شيء… بروده، قسوته، وحتى خوفه الداخلي."
رون يضرب الطاولة: "لكن ليش رجع الآن؟ شو بده من ريو؟"
كازوكي يغمض عينيه: "هذا ما نخافه جميعًا…"
لقطة أخيرة: ريو جالس مع كانتشي في غرفة مظلمة.
كانتشي يبتسم ويقول: "حان وقت عودتك يا ريو… للعالم الحقيقي."
