Chapter 15 - 15. The Young Master’s Dream Of The Wind Catastrophe (3)

Before going upstairs, Adrian first went to the kitchen and picked up the tray of food prepared by Ethan before he left, along with a pot of hot tea.

Butler Ray watched in amazement as Adrian took it upon himself to deliver his own food to his own self without the interference of the servants!

Adrian headed straight to Ethan's room at the end of the hallway on the second floor.

The door was slightly ajar, and the warm glow of the lights inside spilled out. He gently pushed the door open and entered, placing the tray on the table before walking over to the desk where his laptop was.

The laptop screen lit up as Adrian sat down, and his eyes became focused.

Despite his seemingly carefree demeanor, he had been busy sifting through information and piecing together clues. The mess left behind by the original master of this body was far worse than he had anticipated.

On social media, Liam Hayes had become a laughingstock. Anonymous accounts had dug up seductive selfies and makeup videos, and the comments were filled with insults and ridicule.

Adrian's eyes narrowed as he watched, his fingers tapping lightly on the desk.

"This is ridiculous," he muttered to himself.

He took a deep breath and opened a browser, typing in a few keywords (The Wind Catastrophe 2015). The screen remained blank, with no search results.

"It hasn't happened yet," Adrian whispered to himself, a chill running down his spine.

He went back downstairs and asked Butler Ray, "Which airline did my father book?"

"Bright Sky Airlines," Butler Ray replied.

"Tell him not to come back tomorrow," Adrian said calmly. "He shouldn't get on that plane or any other."

"Don't worry, the master will listen to you," Butler Ray said with a sigh, thinking to himself that the master was probably relieved by the prospect of not having to deal with the young master's tantrums.

"You're calling me a tantrum thrower in your heart right now, aren't you?" Adrian looked up.

"No, never!" Butler Ray hastily denied.

After returning back into the room, Adrian opened his laptop again and searched for more information about Bright Sky Airlines. It was one of the top four airlines in the country, with operations spanning over twenty nations.

His heart sank as he realized the significance of the date: May 19, 2015. The day of the Wind Catastrophe, a catastrophic event that would leave a lasting impact on the world.

A storm that wasn't just any storm, but one that brought down planes from the sky.

It was frickin' tomorrow!

On that day, a storm tore through the wind in the sky and every aeroplane flying crashed that day, burning and killing every boarder. Eight private jets caught fire right up in the sky that day.

Those airlines that crashed plummeted and were closed down by either the protest of the people or liquidation, Bright Sky Airlines being one of them.

After that year, in the nearer future in 2016, 2017, 2018 and onwards, the day May 15th was made a day to commemorate those who died that day. And that day was… tomorrow.

He slowly closed the laptop, his breathing becoming more labored.

Just then, Butler Ray entered the room again, looking troubled. "Young master, the master is on the phone again."

Adrian picked up the call.

"You told me not to come back?" his father's voice came through, tinged with irritation and the sound of drinking. "What's going on? Don't tell me you're planning to kill yourself again? I just thought everything through just now and that is the only reason I can think of."

"Father," Adrian's voice was calm and steady, though slightly trembling. "I'm not asking you not to come back because it's one of those my tantrums again or because I have a motif. The reason is because I'm worried about you. I don't want you to get hurt."

"Hurt?" His father laughed. The only one who caused him to be hurt in this life is that miserable son of him, Liam Hayes. What else could hurt him?

"Yes," Adrian said softly. "I dreamed that the plane you were flying on had an accident... and the plane disintegrated in mid-air."

The line went silent for a few seconds before his father's voice came through again, low and stern. "Don't be ridiculous! That's Bright Sky Airlines, the most safest….."

"I know," Adrian interrupted, his voice cracking. "That's why I'm scared. Bright Sky Airlines, Over-The-Rainbow Airlines, Safe Fly Airlines amongst few others… I dreamt they crashed. Please, just wait one day. Wait until tomorrow, and then you can come back."

The line was quiet for a long time before his father finally replied, "Alright, I'll listen to you."

"Thank you, good Father," Adrian said.

"...Child," his father hesitated, his voice softer than usual. "What did you just call me?"

Adrian smiled. "Nothing. Goodnight."

The call ended, and the room fell silent.

Butler Ray looked at him with concern. "Young master, you're not plotting something, are you?"

Before Adrian could respond, the sound of keys turning in the lock echoed from the door. At that moment too the clock immediately struck 8pm.

The door swung open, and a familiar figure walked in, carrying a school bag. The scent of the night air, pastry and a hint of cologne wafted into the room.

"Hubby is back," Adrian said, his face lighting up with a smile as he rushed over to greet Ethan.
