It's not like Scarper did anything useful this week while you trekked across state lines and fought a fomor for answers. Speaking of answers, Elton promised to investigate the barrows, and he might have something useful soon.
To your irritation, Elton isn't home even after you hike all the way into town. You wanted answers—and maybe another burrito. Instead, you head to Gorsky Manor, since you've been meaning to check for leaks after the freezing rain and since you can score free sandwiches that the clients don't eat. Elton sends a text late in the afternoon:

He arrives after most of the clients have been locked into their rooms for the night, wearing a tattered black parka, his hair streaked with dried blood. Katherine's pale ring flashes in the fluorescent light on his thumb.
"Are you hurt?" I check him for lasting wounds caused by silver or fire.
"I wish I could've been there to fight alongside you."
"I'm trying to work an honest job here! Get into the break room before someone sees you."
"Did the meat fight back?"
"Let me get you a tuna fish sandwich and then you can tell me what you've learned."

He grabs a tuna fish sandwich from the nearest table and follows you, then says, "Those horsemen you described were there at the barrow. Looking for more horses, I expect. I drove them off, but we need a Silver Fang or a Pita-skog to reconsecrate that place to Gaia and keep them away for good."
"But what were you able to learn?" you ask once you're sure no one is paying attention to you.
"With David Banicki dead and his workshops destroyed, there won't be any more of those horses," Elton says. "I found another one of those lances, too. He was making them, but I have no idea why. I don't think they're weapons."
"Maybe Nin has human contacts now, people who can help us if we're careful."
"Didn't you say a Full Moon was still alive? Let's go find Podge and he can tear up more of those soldiers."
"But didn't you say Melodie was a Silver Fang? She can finish what we started and sanctify the barrow."
