If you survive to write your memoirs, you probably won't include this. You grab Jasper Heaney's corpse just as Banicki lunges for you with his scalpel, and the fomor hesitates, wheezing.
That gives you time to back up, still carrying the dead man, and inch toward the exit. When you reach the threshold, you fling the corpse aside and sprint through the doorway. Banicki roars and follows, but he has to duck, and when he gets outside into the light, you've maneuvered to the side. He skids down the grassy slope, cursing all Garou, sinking his metal-studded hand into the turf so he doesn't slide all the way into the water.
