he paused before his smile grew deeper
"You're weak, and incapable of saving that precious doll".
He walked to the dead Minstrel, and took the dagger that hit him earlier from his corpse.
He just tossed it to Vane who was still on his knees.
"Have some dignity and end yourself, Pirate".
Vane picked up the dagger, wich made the Prince smirk

Vane was back on his family palace, this time he was watching the Knights fight.
he had always admired them, both thier appearance and fighting style looked noble and pure...
but he wasn't.
he looked to the other side, he saw a kid with blonde hair and cyan eyes training with two other Knights, they seemed to like him..
The kid was the only one to see Vane..it felt like staring on his past self...
The boy walked to Vane.
"Are you me?"
Vane looked at the kid
"Aren't you disappointed?"
The kid shook his head
"why should i be?"
Vane just tilted his head
"can't you see I'm a Pirate?, i swear i was smarter than this"
"i know"
the kid said with a hind of determination
"i believe what you did was the best, i trust myself, that's the first rule of becoming a knight!"
the kid's childish voice and innocence knocked Vane to his sense
"Trust yourself...i think i get it."
The boy nodded, the place around them turned into a vast expanse of grass
"Thank you brat, I'll use that information well".
Kid Vane pouted, not appreciating being called a brat
He paused before calling out Vane:
"Vane.. before you go promise me one thing"
Vane raised a brow.
"What is it brat?"
Kid Vane just took a deep breath
"Visit our mother, tell her how much I..we love her".
Vane turned around giving the Kid his back
"I will"
