When Kelvin caught them, everything happened so fast it was like time itself snapped. He rushed straight toward Roy and landed a heavy blow across his face.
Kimberly screamed in panic, "Kelvin, stop! Please stop!"
But he didn't. His anger burned too deep. He grabbed Roy's shirt and kept punching, one hit after another, each one fueled by jealousy and rage. Kimberly tried pulling at his arm, but Kelvin was too strong, too blinded by fury to even hear her.
For a moment, it looked like Kelvin was winning the fight until Roy suddenly pushed him back with surprising force. In one swift move, Roy stood up and punched Kelvin squarely on the jaw. The hit was so strong that Kelvin stumbled and crashed onto the floor.
Kimberly gasped, her heart pounding. The switch had happened too fast. Just seconds ago, Kelvin had the upper hand now Roy stood over him, eyes blazing.
"Bring it on, man!" Roy growled, his voice sharp with anger. "You can't stand seeing her with another man, but you go around sleeping, partying, and flirting with every girl you see!"
Kelvin spat blood onto the floor and glared up at him. "Shut up, you f***ing liar!"
He tried to swing another punch, but Roy caught his arm midair and jabbed him hard in the stomach. Kelvin bent over, gasping for breath.
"If you're so sure about that, show me your proof!" Kelvin barked, his face twisted with rage.
Roy shook his head, disappointed. "Fine."
He reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone, and tapped a video. He turned the screen toward Kelvin. On the video, Kelvin was clearly kissing another woman passionately, carelessly.
Kimberly froze, her hands trembling. "What… what is this?"
Kelvin's eyes widened. "How did you get that? Are you spying on me? Kimb, did you ask him to do this?"
"What do you mean by that, Kelvin?" Kimberly fired back, her voice cracking. "Why would I ask him to spy on you?"
"That video is fake!" Kelvin shouted, pointing a shaking finger at Roy. "I didn't do any of that, Kimb! Now I see your plan — you both want to call off this wedding! You—" he turned his anger to Roy, "...you planned this from the start. Pretending to be her savior, her bodyguard? I know you, man. You planned it all!"
Kimberly stood frozen between them, staring at the two men in front of her, one she hate so much and the other one she loved so much... both burning with anger and betrayal.
Roy smirked faintly. "Do you have any evidence to back that up, Kelvin?"
Kelvin wiped the blood from his lips. "I don't have it yet, but trust me, I'm looking into it." He took a shaky breath, glaring at Kimberly. "And even if that video was real, Kimb, it doesn't change anything. I'm still your soon-to-be husband."
Kimberly's palm met his cheek with a loud crack. The slap echoed through the room.
"Keep dreaming, Kelvin," she said coldly. "Just keep on dreaming."
Kelvin's jaw tightened. His eyes darkened with fury. "No, baby," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "It's reality. Enjoy your little plaything now, because soon.." he pointed at both of them "...you'll be mine. Every one of you, Kimberly, will be mine."
He turned sharply and stormed toward the door.
At that exact moment, Natasha was walking in, and they bumped into each other hard.
"Oh, shit!" she blurted, rubbing her shoulder. When she looked up and saw who it was, her smile faded instantly.
Kelvin shot her a deadly glare. "Watch where you're going, young lady."
Natasha stepped aside, unimpressed. "You too, man — watch where you're going, young lady," she mimicked sarcastically under her breath as he brushed past her and stormed out.
She turned to see Kimberly standing in the middle of the room, her eyes glassy, Roy sitting silently nearby with blood on his lip.
"Hey, girl… what happened? I just bumped into Kelvin, and he looked ready to murder someone."
"It's nothing, Natasha," Kimberly said softly, avoiding her gaze.
"Nothing?" Natasha raised a brow. "Girl, that did not look like nothing. Come on, Kimb, what happened?" Her voice softened, worried. She glanced at Roy, who sighed deeply.
Kimberly exhaled. "Fine. Roy, can you give us a moment, please?"
Roy nodded silently and left the room, wiping the blood from his mouth as he stepped outside.
Natasha folded her arms. "Now talk. What happened?"
Kimberly sighed heavily. "Chill, girl, I'll explain."
She told Natasha everything about the fight, the video, and Kelvin's outburst. By the time she finished, Natasha's jaw had dropped.
"What? Kimb, how could you be so careless?"
"I didn't know he'd show up here!" Kimberly snapped, her voice trembling. "I didn't plan any of this."
Natasha softened a little, sitting beside her. "Okay, okay. Can I ask you something?"
"Ask, but don't judge me," Kimberly said quietly.
"Girl, come on," Natasha said with a small smile. "We're locked in for life. I'd never judge you."
Kimberly nodded slowly. "Fine. Ask."
"Are you in love with Roy?"
Kimberly's eyes darted away. "Does it even matter, Tasha? I've fallen for him, and it's driving me crazy."
Natasha's lips curved into a teasing grin. "I knew it. So that mark on your neck… was from him?"
Kimberly rolled her eyes. "Yes, it was from him."
"Wait—" Natasha gasped dramatically. "Did you guys…?"
"No! We didn't!" Kimberly interrupted quickly, cheeks flushing. "We just… kissed, okay? And you know I don't kiss and tell."
Natasha giggled. "Mmm, that sounds like something someone in love would say. 'We just kissed.'"
"Whatever, Tasha," Kimberly muttered, trying to hide her smile.
Natasha nudged her playfully. "Alright, alright. But girl, you didn't fill me in on your dinner date with Lord Christian. How did that go?"
Kimberly laughed lightly. "Dinner date? It wasn't a date, it was just dinner."
"Uh-huh. Sure. So how was it?" Natasha smirked.
Kimberly leaned back and sighed dreamily. "That man is dangerously gorgeous."
Natasha's eyebrows shot up. "Did you see his face?"
"No. He wore this big black hat and a face cover. Totally mysterious."
Natasha's tone turned serious. "That's not good. Rumor has it that only the people he wants to kill ever see his face. They say the last thing they see is his beautiful face before they die."
Kimberly frowned. "That's… creepy."
"I'm serious, Kimb. He's dangerous."
Kimberly's gaze drifted, lost in thought. "The strange thing is, he didn't seem dangerous when we met. The way he talked, his manner he felt like a gentleman. Like two opposites living in the same body."
Natasha leaned forward. "And what else?"
Kimberly hesitated. "He's about the same height as Roy. Some of his gestures… they reminded me of Roy. It was strange."
Natasha chuckled. "People look alike, Kimb. Don't overthink it."
"Maybe," Kimberly said softly.
"Or maybe," Natasha teased, "you just couldn't stop thinking about Roy."
Kimberly threw a pillow at her, and they both burst out laughing.
After the laughter faded, Natasha's expression turned serious again. "So, what's up with you and Kelvin now? Are you still going through with the wedding after that video?"
Kimberly sighed deeply, her eyes lowering. "Natasha, I'm not even sure I'm the right person to answer that anymore. Everything feels… wrong."
Natasha nodded slowly, understanding. "Yeah, girl. I'm sorr things are really turning out this way."
The room fell quiet for a moment. Outside, the wind whistled softly against the window, carrying the weight of everything that had just happened.
Kimberly leaned back on the couch, tears forming in her eyes. "I don't even know what to feel anymore, Tasha".
Natasha placed a hand on hers. "Then maybe it's time to stop holding back."
Kimberly looked up, eyes shining. "You really think so?"
Natasha smiled gently. "I know so, you need to fight this kimb".
"It not easy Tasha".
