A table fit for a king they thought, the boys and girls had separate showers, they wore new clothes with each designed for one of them
Dresses of noble status, each was covered in a unique colour
"Just imagine this" said Isabel "Me, standing before the lot of you, lords and ladies watching from the side, as the king, huge, fearless, gives me the title, Noble!" moving her hand in the air as if it appeared before her
"I bet he'd hang you just for that" replied Thomas
"How much do you think the crown has rotted?" asked John
"I don't know, its barley been like 14 years since he was crowned, I don't think much of it fell," said William
"How long did the last crown last then?" said John
"If I remember correctly, it is said to have lasted 50 years, before it fell down" said William "The kingdom was up for around 200 years, another 50 years for the second crown, 15 for the latest and about 60 years for the first king"
"I heard this wasn't always a kingdom, back in the day it used to be a noble house belonging to the Kazar," said Henry
"I heard of that claim as well, the Kazar claimed such a thing, sadly with no paper evidence and the old history these walls hold, it appears to be an attempt to sway the public opinion to their side," said William
"It does seem believable though" said john "With the Kazar being around 300 years old"
"Being older doesn't mean you are always right" replied William "Even idiots live long"
The door busted open, the masked butler stepped inside, alone, he looked their way and spoke
"May I lead you?"
They followed from behind him, the walls were covered in expensive portraits, the red carpet and the fancy lights made it look as if they were being crowned
"Now I am sure of it", said Isabel "the castle, the fancy treatment, the clothing, we are meeting the king"
"I wish the stories not to be true," said William
"What stories?" asked Isabel
"You know" replied William as he leaned near her and whispered "About his face"
"Oh, you mean the burnings?" Isabel said "I am sure they'll look cool; I haven't heard anything about them causing a disability"
They reached the brightest source if light, gems sparkled across the ladies' necks, nobles of all status filled the room, no loud sounds were heard, the kids were given sharp gazes, as if needles struck their bodies
The butler led them near a stair way, beyond it laid the king's throne, huge, fearsome
They stood by it, they noticed none walked the red carpet leading to it, the room was divided into 2 parts by it
Isabel came toward them with some snacks in hand
"What! Where did take these from?!" said Sara taking a bite
"Over There" replied Isabel with a full mouth, she pointed towards the middle of the crowd
"And you just walked casually between their shoulders?!" said Sara
"I did overhear some conversations while at it" said Isabel swallowing the food as she continued with a clean mouth "They said that this is a first, for the king to start a party like this, he never appeared in one before"
"I guess we are the real deal, huh" said Thomas with a smile
"Well of course, I am expensive enough to have such treatment thank you, thank you" said Isabel to her brother
A loud sound of a guard over the crowded voices reached the ears, "The king, Arthur the first is stepping inside, you may give you greetings in silence" the room was so quite a buzzing fly would be considered noisy
The door opened slowly, from it stepped forth many knights each with a Sigel of their own, all of them of course were of silver, what came forth seemed to be at least 10 of them
They stood by the end of the stairs not daring another step forward
After them the king stepped forth, with 4 Sigel Knights, each with a Siegl of their own, but they were different, gold covered, a sword, a shield, a spear and short twin blades, they carried their banner forth
This wasn't what grabbed their attention, but the king
He shuffled forward, his steps slow and uneven, his spine worn and torn down as if the crown was dragging him to the grave, heavy breaths from his fallen jaw, his eyes forced themselves open
His crown hanged with however much strength it had, its fangs attached to the bland hair of his, although his body was huge, it was more of a giant moving corps
He lower face part was bunt all the way up to the nose, that is what was visible of it, the upper part was covered in a mask of gold, shower wasn't an option in his stat so the smell reached the bowed heads of the nobles
Most of them were too shocked to notice anything else, they did not expect such a state for him, crow half eaten, eyes forced open, body broken, but none dared a word out, silence was the only speaker
He was helped by the pitied eyes of the butler to walk the stairs leaving all the knight's bellow, only that servant was allowed to step up
He waved with his hand for the kids, they were terrified for some reason, with or without a beard, a lion is never a cat, they bent their knees down as they were thought
They were allowed to step forward and up the stairs, just enough to be in his sight
Opening his mouth, he stuttered a word out in a snoring voice "Names."
The butler spoke
"This" pointing towards the far left "Is Isabel"
Both the butler and the king had their hands pointed towards her, she dared not to left her gaze
"Do you wish the king to wait?" said the butler "His hand will grow tired with this"
She lifted her face slowly revealing it with eyes fixed on the ground. The kings stared wit his hand in place for a time
She thought to herself "He's a creep, He's a creep, He's a creep, He's a creep, He's a creep, He's a creep, He's a creep, He's a creep,"
His hand finally moved to the next, and so one after another, they did the same
Sara, John, William, Thomas
Until it was time for Henry
His face moved u slowly, just like the rest of them, he kept his gaze down, until he heard a low movement
Daring a glance, he saw the king wide eyed reaching forward for him, his eyes fixated on something, on the tattoo he had
He almost fell from his throne, his huge body was barley held u by his left, but it too failed him, as he fell slowly the eyes were terrified, his crown was falling off of his head
He was grabbed in the air by the butler who kept the crown in place by his right
"The king is tired; you may go back if you choose to" said the butler as he took the king with him followed by the 4 golden Sigel knights
The room went silent, even when the crown wasn't there, the shock ripped their tongues off, the children stared each other, staring Henry who was as confused as they were
The butler held him by the side, the both of them barley had a difference in height with whatever disability the king had
The moment they reached a certain level of the stairs the knights stopped, only the butler was allowed to walk from there, alongside the crown
Entering his highnesses sleeping chambers, he seated him on the bed. The butler walked toward a painting by the window, the moon light reaching it whole except for the king's, face, he towered over a horse in a filed of fire and blood
Removing it a secret passage was there, a small dark hallway the butler walked holding a torch of light
He walked into a room darker than its path, reaching to the wall he took out a crown of the same designed, although it was uneaten, he stepped back and towards the room, sat beside the king and removed the eaten crown
He started carving it into the same status, making differences on purpose here and there, once it was finished from both the inside and the outside he stood before the uncrowned king
Slowly covering his head with gold once more, as if nothing happened
