Marine Headquarters—atop the battlefield—the war raged on. Explosions echoed across the island as battles unfolded in every corner.
Some fights had reached a deadlock, while others were already drawing to a close.
One such clash stood out among the chaos: Fairy Tail's S-Class mage, Jura Iwatekura, against the God Knight, the giant wolf Fenrir.
Facing Fenrir's relentless storm of attacks, Jura remained perfectly calm from beginning to end. His movements were precise—his guard airtight. Every defense was solid, every counter deliberate. He gave his opponent no opening to exploit.
"Hahahaha! What's wrong? What's wrong?!" Fenrir roared with laughter, his fanged grin gleaming beneath the moonlight. "You can't win by just defending! Or are you just stalling until your friends bail you out?"
The God Knight had taken on his werewolf form—muscular, feral, his claws glinting like blades. Though not as massive as his full beast transformation, his power had not diminished in the slightest.
If anything, he had become faster—terrifyingly fast.
At a glance, it looked as though three Fenrirs were on the battlefield at once. But they were afterimages—phantom clones left behind by sheer speed.
This was Fenrir's proudest technique: a blinding velocity that created the illusion of multiple bodies. His enemies never knew which was real until it was too late.
"Confused, are you?" Fenrir sneered. "Can't tell which one's real? Let me enlighten you—all three of me are real… and at the same time, none of them are!"
Jura's expression didn't waver. "Are those your last words?"
"Nani?!" Fenrir's face twisted in irritation. He was about to retort when Jura's calm voice cut through the chaos again.
"I've already seen enough of your techniques. It's time to end this."
Fenrir's laughter boomed across the field. "End this? Don't make me laugh! You've been on the defensive since the start—you can't even land a hit! And you still dare spout such arrogance?"
Jura didn't respond to the taunt. Instead, he looked upward slightly, as though thinking aloud. "This is my first battle as a member of Fairy Tail since arriving here. I can't afford to disappoint our new Guild Master—Sugisawa Yuuto."
Fenrir's grin faltered. "You're getting more and more annoying! A guy like you could never be my opponent!"
He growled, his body swelling and reshaping—fur erupting, muscles bulging—until he stood as a massive, towering wolf.
A deep, rumbling growl shook the air as he loomed over Jura, trying to crush him beneath sheer intimidation.
"Oh, making yourself bigger?" Jura smiled faintly. "How considerate of you—makes it easier for me to hit you."
He pressed his palms together.
In an instant, dozens—no, hundreds—of stone pillars burst from the ground, shooting up like spears and locking the giant wolf in place.
The next second—
Boom!
Colossal rock fists rose from the earth and pummeled Fenrir's massive body from all sides.
"GRAAAHHHHH!!!"
Fenrir howled in agony, thrashing against the crushing blows.
"Don't get cocky!!!" he bellowed, jaws opening wide as frost began to gather within his throat. A chilling energy surged outward—
"Rock Mountain!" Jura's calm voice rang out.
Boom!
A towering mountain erupted from the earth, its surface gleaming like metal. It absorbed the freezing energy head-on, blocking Fenrir's devastating blast.
At the same time—
"Gasshō—Stone Fist Eruption!!!"
Boom! Rumble!
Steel-hard boulders exploded upward, slamming into the giant wolf and sending him hurtling into the sky.
"Damn it!!!" Fenrir roared in fury, twisting his body midair before landing with a crash. His form shimmered as he reverted back into his werewolf state.
"Don't think you'll hit me so easily again," he snarled, his tone low and dangerous. "You'll never keep up with me. You're too slow."
"Maybe," Jura admitted with a quiet nod. "Speed isn't my specialty." His eyes hardened. "But the thing is—I don't need to keep up with you."
"What?" Fenrir scoffed, baring his fangs.
Before he could move—
BOOM!!!
A crushing pressure suddenly filled the entire area, pressing down from every direction.
Jura brought his hands together once more.
"Myojin—Stone Seal Prison!!!"
The battlefield trembled as divine energy poured from the ground, sealing everything within a vast domain of stone and power.
