Chapter 97 - Chapter 97

Sabaody Islands.

Thirteenth Red Tree.

A solitary little bar perched atop a lonely hill.

This was a must-visit sanctuary for travelers who knew where to look—Shakky's Rip-Off Bar.

"The wind's restless today, Shakky. Is something wrong on the island?"

At the bar counter, Pluton Rayleigh, the hidden legend, dressed casually in floral shorts and slippers, frowned. Even here, in a remote corner of the islands, he could feel the agitation in the air.

"Oh, it's only natural. After all, Fairy Tail is here!" Shakky said with a slight smile.

"Huh? Fairy Tail is here… seems like it's time for old Ray," Rayleigh smiled knowingly.

He trusted Shakky's instincts. Whenever Fairy Tail arrived on Sabaody, it meant one thing—they were preparing to set sail for the New World.

There were two ways to reach the New World:

One, through the government-controlled route, abandoning your ship.

Two, coated vessels that plunged into the deep seas, diving ten thousand meters to Fish-Man Island.

"Let's set the coating aside for now," Shakky said, shaking her head.

"What's wrong?" Rayleigh asked, puzzled.

"It can only be Fairy Tail. Their style is too… unpredictable!" Shakky's eyes widened.

"Are they causing chaos again?"

Rayleigh took a slow sip of his drink, already bracing himself.

"Just now… they killed a Celestial Dragon… in the street!" Shakky revealed casually.

Rayleigh spewed the liquor he had just swallowed. The legendary pirate—Pluton Rayleigh—couldn't believe the words he had just heard. He froze, glass in hand, staring at the empty horizon for a long moment.

Finally, he swallowed, suppressing his shock.

Then his face changed. Something massive approached—his Observation Haki screamed warning.

"They're coming!"

On Fairy Tail's ship, Vivi tilted her head, confused, staring at the small bar perched on the hill.

"Shakky's Rip-Off Bar? That's a strange name…"

"Hahaha, only a fool would come to drink after everything that's happened," Nami laughed.

The next second, Sugisawa Yuuto piloted the ship, heading straight for the bar.

"The idiot is… me!" Nami muttered, covering her face.

"This place isn't simple. There's a strong aura here," Erza said seriously.

Squeak~ The bar door swung open.

The charming proprietor, Shakky, and an old man with white hair and slippers appeared, greeting the Fairy Tail girls.

"For those unfamiliar with Fairy Tail… forgive me if I disappoint," Shakky smiled.

"Miss Shakky, welcome. And thank you for your accurate information last time," Yuuto said with a polite nod.

"President, do you know this woman?" Wendy asked in surprise.

Robin explained. "We received detailed intelligence on the Hundred Regiments Alliance from Morgons, but he was only an intermediary. The real source of the intel is Miss Truth herself."

"As Fairy Tail's Minister of Intelligence, Robin naturally knows more than anyone," she added.

"I just happened to have some information at hand… nothing difficult," Shakky replied lightly.

"Shakky, let's sit inside and talk properly," Rayleigh reminded her.

"Of course! President Sugisawa Yuuto and everyone, please come in. I've prepared some drinks," Shakky gestured politely.

Yuuto entered without ceremony, Elusa and the others close behind. Alcohol and assorted snacks lined the tables.

Yuuto snapped his fingers. Robin rose, handing a box to Shakky. Inside were stacks of 100 million Baileys.

"This is a small reward for your previous intel, nothing more," Yuuto said. Reciprocity was crucial—Shakky provided vital information, and Fairy Tail must repay it to ensure continued cooperation.

"This is too generous… I don't dare accept it!" Shakky pushed the box back.

"It's your due," Yuuto insisted. "And I have another favor I'd like you to look into."

Shakky's expression turned serious. Fairy Tail's growth demanded full attention.

Robin began to recount exactly what had happened since they landed on Sabaody.

"How dare anyone plot against both Fairy Tail and the World Government simultaneously? Audacious. Most people lack such courage," Shakky muttered, impressed.

"I'll investigate this matter and report back as soon as possible," she promised.

"Thank you, Shakky!" Yuuto nodded.

"Speaking of which, President Yuuto… heading to Sabaody, you're probably planning to go to the New World?" Shakky asked.

"Yes, I have a plan," Yuuto confirmed.

"In that case, leave the boat coating to old Ray here. He's the best on Sabaody," Shakky suggested.

"No need," Yuuto declined.

Rayleigh raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You don't trust me?"

"Of course I trust you, former One Piece vice-captain, but it's unnecessary," Yuuto smiled.

Nami, Vivi, Perona, Marian: "!!!"

"Wait… familiar?" Robin nodded. "One Piece's deputy captain?"

Wendy tilted her head. "One Piece? So this old man sailed with Crocus from Cape Twins?"

Juvia gasped.

Rayleigh nodded, slightly embarrassed but composed. His identity was partially revealed by Yuuto, though it wasn't entirely shocking.

"Crocus and Laboon once commissioned us to search for the Rumba Pirates," Mirajan said.

Rayleigh recalled. Even the Roger Pirates couldn't locate them in the Grand Line.

"The Rumba Pirates Laboon awaited likely perished long ago," Rayleigh sighed.

"No—they found survivors," Juvia interjected.

Rayleigh froze. Even more shocking than learning that Fairy Tail had killed a Celestial Dragon.

"Fifty years ago, the Rumba Pirates were wiped out in the Devil's Triangle. One member survived thanks to a devil-fruit power… he died not long ago. We met him at Twin Point," Robin summarized.

Rayleigh laughed joyfully, raising his glass. "First centuries-old feuds between Sandia and Sky Island… then fifty years of Laboon and the Rumba Pirates… Fairy Tail, you are miraculous!"

Shakky smiled.

"How can you be this strong?" Vivi and Wendy murmured shyly.

"Uncle, are you really the legendary pirate Pluton Rayleigh?" Nami asked in awe.

"Looks like it, doesn't it?" Rayleigh replied casually.

"If he's the One Piece vice-captain, he must be strong. Can he teach me a thing or two?" Erza asked eagerly.

"Forget it. Legendary is past tense… I'm just an old bone now!" Rayleigh waved off.

"Shakky, the death of a Celestial Dragon is no small matter. The World Government won't let it pass… an Admiral will arrive soon. There's still time to leave!"

"Leave? No rush. We have other plans," Yuuto said.

"Plans?" Shakky raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. We're going to Sabaody Land Park!"

Rayleigh and Shakky exchanged shocked looks. Kill a Celestial Dragon, draw an Admiral… and you want to go to a theme park?

But it was Fairy Tail. Even an Admiral might be helpless. They relaxed slightly.

"Then I'll leave the investigation to you, Shakky. We're heading to the park!" Yuuto said. Boarding the ship with the girls, they set sail toward Sabaody Park.

"Seems like something big will happen today," Shakky sighed.

"I'll follow and observe," Rayleigh said, departing.

Ten minutes later, Fairy Tail reached Red Tree No. 30.

At the gate, Urrutia waited with the eight-year-old Bonney. Fairy Tail landed slowly.

"Everyone, I'm so lucky today! No one's here! We can play without waiting!" Bonney cheered.

"Ah… that's probably because the president killed the Celestial Dragons!" Nami muttered.

Indeed, the death of a Celestial Dragon had sent pirates fleeing, stores closed, residents home. Sabaody Park—usually bustling—was empty.

"Bonney, why are you like this again?" Yuuto smiled.

"It's this… children under 1.2 meters get half price. I want to save money for you, President!" Bonney said proudly.

"Such a good deal!" Nami's eyes sparkled. She allowed Bonney to run the half-price plan herself, gathering everyone together.

Yuuto stroked his chin, imagining little Elsa, Mira, Nami, Robin, Vivi, Wendy—all the little ones. This was the rhythm dictated by the "prisoner" plan!

"Although it's fun… we haven't prepared children's clothes," Mirajan noted.

Nami agreed. They postponed the kids' mode and went full adult mode.

Roller coasters, bumper cars, pirate ships… all attractions came one by one.

"No, no, no! I can't!"

"Me too!" Wendy and Perona screamed, clinging to the ground as the rides spun violently.

"Why am I dizzy? First time on a coaster, and—" Perona muttered.

Wendy frowned. "But I was fine at the guild…"

Yuuto finally realized. Dragon Slayer magic, at its pinnacle, caused vehicle-induced fainting in Dragon Slayers. He had entered Dragon King Mode, the ultimate Dragon Slayer power, but this effect had never manifested before. The system magic normally erased it.

"Wendy and Perona, rest a bit. Let's start round two!" Erza said.

The second coaster began.

But as the ride reached top speed…

Kaka!

The decades-old track creaked ominously. Screws flew out, the entire car collapsed.

"President!"

"Everyone!" Wendy and Perona screamed.

"We're fine!" Yuuto assured, hovering amid flying dust.

"Finally?" Erza's armor gleamed. She smirked.

"Come out, Kizaru," Yuuto said calmly.

"Oh… oh, this is scary~" A flash of golden light revealed Admiral Kizaru, pouting lewdly.
