(Dream Realm.)
As the scene unfolds, Eve, still bowing to the Prince of Hell, finally spoke again.
"It is such an honor to finally meet you! You know, when I envisioned us meeting, I expected somewhere more... appropriate," Eve said, continuing to bow.
"I care not for formalities. Speak—who are you, and what do you want with my friend?" Stygian spoke, summoning his nail and standing his ground.
"Oh?" Eve spoke before disappearing into the darkness.
Stygian readied himself for an attack, but faster than he could react, Eve appeared once more and manifested from his back.
"Don't be such a grumpy pants. You know stress is bad for the skin," Eve said before licking Stygian's face with a monstrous tongue covered in jagged spikes and eyes.
Stygian, raising his nail, swung at Eve, aiming at her chest, trying to get her off him.
Eve once more disappeared into the shadows and evaded Stygian's attack.
Stygian, now more weary than ever, summoned a Lumaflie lantern to make sure there weren't any shadows around him so Eve couldn't pull that little trick again.
But as Stygian searched around the darkness of the dream realm, Eve once again manifested.
Appearing much further away from Stygian, Eve licked her lips and enjoyed the rather unusual taste of the prince.
"Hmm, you are quite delicious, little prince. So pure... so delicious," Eve spoke, flicking her tongue out at the prince.
"I won't ask again. Who are you?" the prince said, raising his nail toward Eve, ready to attack.
"Uhh... you're just like Lilith. Both of you are such buzzkills," Eve said, summoning an apple before taking a bite.
"How do you know my mother?" Stygian asked Eve.
As Eve continued to munch down on her apple, she looked toward Stygian and spoke. "We used to be roommates," she said before swallowing the apple whole, her tongue wrapping around it and ripping it to shreds before swallowing.
Stygian, still a bit confused by the sudden roadblock, looked behind where Eve stood.
She was completely blocking the memory that could answer everything.
"Leave. My friend needs my help, and you're in my way," Stygian commanded.
"Hmm, no," Eve said.
"I wasn't asking," Stygian said before moving faster than Eve could react and slicing her head clean off.
Eve's head fell toward the floor with a loud splat, her body left completely standing there.
And now, standing behind Eve, Stygian cleaned his nail and continued on to the memory to finally find out what she had done to his friend.
But before he could enter the memory of Maylin, the jagged tongue of Eve wrapped around him and slowly began to drag him farther away from the memory.
Stygian turned back to Eve and saw the severed head using its tongue to restrain him. The head then sprouted multiple insect-like legs from underneath it and began to slowly crawl back to its body.
Inserting itself back into the neck, it reattached itself to the body with one quick motion.
"Man, does that hurt," Eve said with a bit of a lisp, since she was using her tongue.
Strange, Stygian thought. Whenever he would kill or dismember his foes, they would almost immediately become black sludge, getting absorbed by the void.
But this time, she not only resisted death but also healed rather quickly.
"What's the matter, princeling? Can't get out?" Eve said, still a bit lisped.
Stygian, getting more annoyed by the second, decided to stop holding back, and with a loud crack, Stygian's carapace exploded away, revealing his shade form.
Now a being of pure shadow, Stygian was able to easily escape from the bindings and quickly speed-blitz Eve once more, this time ending her for good.
Now behind her, Stygian once more chopped her head off, and to add to this, while her head was still in the air, Stygian hacked and cleaved it until only dust remained.
Once he had finished with the head, he turned his attention to the main body and saw it... running away.
Raising his hand, Stygian sent a blast of pure soul energy toward the fleeing body, disintegrating it and leaving nothing behind.
Once he had made sure she didn't come back, he reformed his carapace and walked back to the memory.
Once there, he began ripping it open, and with one final push, he got in.

(Maylin's Memory.)
Now inside the memory, Stygian was once more in the farm where everything began.
Looking around the place, Stygian saw the same person standing over Maylin, who was currently on the floor.
Her skin slowly changed, becoming younger.
"So it was her doing. She's the reason why May's gotten so young," Stygian said, watching the scene unfold.
But curiously, Eve—though it was a memory—looked directly at Stygian.
"What the hell?" Stygian said, summoning his nail, getting ready for another fight.
"Hey, imp girl~ I'd like that favor now~" Eve said in a sing-song voice.

(Back in Hell.)
Maylin's eyes suddenly flashed open. They glowed bright red, and from her hip, a blade formed from the shadows as she grabbed it.
The blade was a combination of angelic steel and demonic magic. Normally, angelic steel was rather resistant to demonic magic.
But Eve's magic was anything but normal.
The blade was now infused with her own personal magic, capable of killing even the immortal Lucifer.
As Maylin grabbed the blade and raised it to strike the immobile body of Stygian, her hand was quickly grabbed by Celestia, who was diligently guarding her creator's body.
Maylin tried to struggle free, but Celestia's grip was absolute. Desperate, Maylin tried punching Celestia's face, but before she could, Celestia simply slapped her across the room, knocking her out.
"Oops! Sorry! I didn't mean to hit you that hard!" Celestia said before running over to the now-unconscious Maylin.

(Back with Stygian.)
"Well... that plan failed. Welp, time for plan B!" Eve said before quickly disappearing.
As Eve disappeared and leaving a rather confused Stygian behind, he pondered what the hell she meant by her plan failing and moving on to plan B.
"Just who the hell was that crazy woman?"
