As I continued to jump across the many buildings, I finally arrived at my destination without much trouble.
I began looking around for the radio tower Zestial told me about, and after only a few minutes, a red glowing radio tower across from where I was standing revealed itself.
It looked rather disheveled but still functional, so moving to take a closer look at the building, I climbed one of the nearby radio towers and inspected the inside.
Once I was atop the tower, I could finally see the insides of Alastor's home and found it was a simple broadcast room. It had simple decorations all around the room, but most importantly, it had an eerie vibe thanks to the multiple skeletons adorned upon its walls.
Yup, this was definitely the guy I'm looking for; no normal person would willingly display their kills without properly cleaning them before displaying.
But now a rather annoying problem came up. Where is he? I could probably just look around the area until I—
"Why hello there, deary!" A static voice spoke from behind me.
I quickly jumped away and readied my needle. That demon… he was able to sneak up on me. But how? I didn't even hear him move.
"Oh my! You're quite a spry little lass! Tell me, why are you here?" The demon spoke, his voice carrying a hint of malice.
"Why I'm here doesn't matter," I said, getting ready for any sudden movements.
"Oh, that's too bad. I wouldn't want to ruin such a pretty face. Run along now, I've much better things to do." Alastor told me before turning away from me and disappearing into his shadow.
So that's how he sneaked up on me—shadows. Well, that's going to make him harder to track down if he's always in the shadows, but this does make things a lot more exciting for me.
Getting up, I threw my needle toward Alastor's building and pulled myself through the air, landing atop his roof. From there, I'll simply wait for him to come back.
Sitting down, I placed some string into my needle and began playing it to pass the time, and as I continued to play, I heard footsteps behind me. Turning around, I saw Alastor with an enraged smile.
"Dear, did I not tell you to leave? Or should I… make an example of you?" he told me before his body began to glow with green energy and sigils began floating around him.
Getting up, I readied myself for combat, and with a confident smile, I spoke:
"Gurama!" I raised my spear and, without missing a beat, threw it directly at his face.
Alastor avoided my attack by moving his head slightly, and with a smug grin, he summoned large tentacles from beneath him to attack me.
The tentacles were fast and ferocious, trying their best to either swipe at me or grab me. Though such attacks were in vain; I simply avoided them, and when one tried to pierce me, I jumped and landed on top of it.
Once I had landed, I began running down the tentacle toward the demon, and without giving him time to react, I swung my needle, landing a solid hit on him.
This caused him to stumble back a bit before quickly regaining his footing.
"Well… now this is quite exciting!" He had a delighted smile on his face, and before I knew it, his body began to grow as large as a building.
This caused the building we were standing on to collapse due to the weight. I tried jumping away, but as soon as I leaped off the roof, Alastor grabbed me, and with a sadistic laugh, he threw me toward the ground like a ragdoll.
But unfortunately for him, he didn't account for my wings. Unfurling them, I stopped my descent toward the ground, and looking up, I saw Alastor jump off his collapsing building, aiming toward me.
I quickly moved out of the way, using my wings to avoid his attack, and with a loud boom, he landed, shattering the ground beneath him. Debris and dust flew in every direction, giving me a chance to adjust and change my tactic.
I hid inside one of the abandoned buildings, and from there, I watched.
"Oh, little spider! Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Alastor spoke, the malicious grin still on his face.
And before long, tentacles began to sprout out of his back and started destroying the surrounding buildings.
"Stop hiding and face me!" Alastor roared as he continued to destroy the buildings with his tentacles.
But as one came close to me, I took this opportunity to climb on top of it, running along it to get closer.
"Oh! The little spider finally decided to show herself!" Alastor, raising his arm, swiped down at me, fully intending to hit me off his tentacle.
But as it came closer, I jumped off the tentacle and, using my needle, stabbed him in the hand and climbed up his arm before running up it.
"Get off me, you pest!" He raised his other arm to hit me off, but it was too late.
I was already close enough to start my plan. Reaching into my cloak, I pulled out the Lumafly lantern I borrowed from Stygian, and with one quick motion, I shielded my eyes and raised the lantern up.
This caused the Lumaflies to glow even brighter than before, temporarily blinding the demon.
"Ahh! You insolent pest!" Alastor yelled, covering his eyes. This caused him to flail his tentacles around, trying to hit me.
But dodging that was a simple matter. Jumping off his arm, I landed right by his legs, and without wasting a second, I created more silk and began running around his legs, tying him up and making it almost impossible to move.
When he finally regained his sight, he tried to move forward, but he quickly found that he was unable to move, causing him to fall forwards toward the ground.
But before he landed on his face, I grabbed small balls from within my cloak and threw them where he would land. When the balls hit the ground, they quickly opened with a small flash and revealed rows of buzzsaws.
The demon's eyes went wide for a second, but before he could process what was happening, his face and torso landed on them.
The buzzsaws began to spin and tear off flesh from him, causing him to scream in agony. He tried pushing himself off the ground, but when he tried moving, he felt my strings holding on to his wrists, making him unable to move out.
He tried everything he could to escape, but whenever he tried, I was simply there to stop him, making it impossible for him to get away.
Once the buzzsaws had stopped, Alastor's face was left mangled and damaged, but even then, he still had a smile on his face.
He had long since shrank back to his regular size and was now lying on the ground with buzzsaws embedded in his body.
I walked toward him, needle in hand, about to end the fight. But as I raised my needle, preparing to strike, a blue lightning bolt appeared from the sky, heading toward me.
I quickly jumped out of the way, and from the crater stood a person with a television for a head. With a wide smile, he looked up at me.
"Why hello, Princess!"
