After they left the kitchen, only Henry and Evelyne remained there. She thanked him for helping her.
"Thank you for helping me. If you hadn't come, they would have grabbed both my arms and tried to hit me," she said.
He shook his head. "No need to thank me. Besides, it's my job as HR in this company to make sure no employees break the rules."
Evelyne smiled when she heard this, but she still thanked him and then went back to the refrigerator to get some cold water.
