"So, whilst we wait for the family to sort this out, you're yet to give me an update on everything," Angela asked me. "I am yet to hear about your relationship with Jasmine Towers, your childhood friend."
"Oh, right, about that," I started.
I explained my relationship with Jasmine. I told her how much I enjoyed our booming romance, her difficult relationship with Keith. Then finished off with what was currently happening; Keith was possibly keeping her against her will.
"Wow, that is a lot," she told me. "I don't think I talked to Jasmine much growing up, but I recall she was a sweet girl."
"You're in a difficult position," she told me. "He has all the legal power to hold her."
I brought my hands to my face as I contemplated my situation.
"Do you trust her to remain loyal to you and not get back with her ex?" she asked.
"Yes, without a doubt," I instantly replied.
