A knock at my office door drew my attention. Knowing who it was already I opened for them and Edward entered. When he reached my desk he scanned sll the pictures and documents then his eyes met mine. I could tell he was judging me. I didn't care though.
'Sir, if I may comment, but why do you continue requesting this information on Ms Towers if it only upsets you in the end?" he said.
My eyes flashed with anger at him. "I don't remember approving you to go on to give your opinion." I snapped at him.
"I apologize, sir," he said.
"And for your information. She's still my wife so of course I'm going to be concerned for her," I told him matter-of-factly.
"Of course, sir," he answered but he sounded like he was judging me.
"I came to give you these documents. Two of these need your approval and signature. They are department managers and have to be sent back to the. The rest are reports on the performance of recent projects that have either been completed and on going."
