Growing up, my life had never been interesting. I was the lastborn in my family and the second son.
I was just the fat, clumsy youngest son everyone ignored. All the attention was always on my older brother who was the heir to my father's company and somewhat to my older sister.
It's not that I wanted to be the heir or anything but did my parents have to act like I didn't exist? I barely ever saw my father, who was always busy working, but he would take my brother with him. My more available mother still prioritized my brother above everyone else.
If I wanted to ask for something from my parents they would refuse or downright ignore me. But say my elder brother asked for the same thing they would run around like headless chickens to obtain it. Their favoritism was so blatant.
