Chapter 268 - Cap.252 - Seven Districts

The plans for the city of sin were put on the table, it would take months to see a satisfactory result. During that time, tasks began to be distributed.

Mukade, using Momori, was ready to serve as Heavens' public figure. Jugo separated thousands of wooden clones that would be responsible for the underground construction, they would use wood and earth to build, and it wouldn't take long to finish, although Jugo also brought some architects from the Land of Sound to help with this gigantic project.

As soon as the project began, the city started to tremble from time to time, causing Jugo to have to leave some clones responsible for reinforcing the civilians' houses. The tremors left the civilians and nobles confused and panicked, but Mukade controlled Momori to calm them down. Since the upper part still had to be transformed, he used the excuse of renovations to explain the tremors.

A disused part of the city began to be redeveloped into a huge amusement park, with luxury hotels, casinos, and every type of entertainment available in the world.

Toji, on the other hand, worked with the architects, he made a preliminary plan dividing the underground city into 7 districts.

The Gluttony district would have the best restaurants with food from all over the world, you could find everything you could possibly want to eat there.

The Lazy district, a hotel sector with so many amenities that you wouldn't even need to move a muscle, had services for everything, such as spas and massage parlors open 24/7.

The Greed district, a gambling sector with gaming rooms, racetracks, lotteries, and various other ways to lose money, here you could bet on anything, including your own freedom, wealth and poverty went hand in hand.

The Rage District, with its diverse arenas for all types of fighting, bare-handed combat, weapons fighting, ninjutsu fighting, would reward the winners with prizes, while the losers, if they survived, could live to fight another day. This is also the only district where there are no punishments for crimes, even if you kill someone in the street, no one will say anything.

Of course, if you damage public property, you pay, or if you don't have the money, your life is the payment.

This district would also be connected to the district of greed, after all, betting on fights is also a way of losing money.

However, it would be an indirect connection, one could bet on the fights in that district and watch the 'games' on TV. Ringo even considered creating a 'Deadpool,' allowing players to bet on how many people would die over the course of a day, week, month, or year in the Rage District.

The Pride District was where the rich, nobles, celebrities, etc., could buy or rent places to live. The privileges here were no less than in the Sloth District, except that those who lived here could have exclusive benefits in Sin City.

This area would also have the largest number of recreational facilities, such as zoos, shopping malls, amusement parks, water parks, etc.

Jugo even planned to create a false sky in that place, living there would be no different from living on the surface.

The Lust District, the name itself made it clear what that place would be: endless debauchery was the goal for that location.

The final district was the Envy District, where the black market would be located, anything could be sold there, including slaves.

Of course, since the city limited its occupants, only sinful slaves could reach that place, it would probably be supplied with those who had lost everything in the district of greed or in the other districts.

Toji was very pleased with his draft and began discussing with the architects how to transform that place.

All those guys were believers in the Father of Devils, so they were very happy, especially because at the center of everything there would be a large temple dedicated to the Father of Devils.

The temple was also the place where Saisei no Ki would be relocated, a large portion of the debt slaves would become nutrients for it, becoming a constant source of Seimei no Ro. Souls for Toji as well, after all, he planned to be a loan shark, but the debt wouldn't be money, it would be souls.

Afro had also been brought inside, and when he learned what Toji wanted to do, he was once again speechless. In the end, he shrugged, Sin City or whatever, he wouldn't be surprised anymore by Toji's loose screws.

Even so, he was very interested in the Rage and Lust district, fighting and fucking, everything Afro could ask for in life.

Toji saw that this guy had nothing to do and let him go with the goal of recruiting labor, although the ecosystem that Toji had in mind would keep the city running on its own in the future, for now, he still needed employees.

He couldn't possibly have thousands of clones acting as attendants, right? Especially considering it's the luxury district.

Toji even considered asking Jugo to let some of the souls he had stolen from Jashin return to life so they could become employees in the Underworld.

Toji let Afro go out with his own Snake clone that could sense sin. The goal was to hunt down bandits, thieves, loan sharks, and whoever else had sinned enough, whether man, woman, old or young, even a dog or cat, they would all be dragged to that place.

While Toji was working in Sin City, on the other side, two figures were crossing the desert, this time it was Kimimaro with black hair and Pakura, who felt strange returning to this place.

They followed the clues about Toji and Afro to this point, tracing the places they had passed through. They realized they had entered the Land of Wind, but they weren't sure of the exact location, so they would need to follow the old path, searching through all the nearby cities.

Honestly, it would have been annoying, especially for Pakura, she would have preferred to go back to Jugo and ask for a real squad, instead of just pairing up and searching city after city, only to find out that Toji and Afro had left a long time ago.

Kimimaro didn't care in the slightest, even if Jugo gave him a carrot and asked him to make mashed potatoes with it, he wouldn't complain. He would simply look for a way to complete the task, clearly the kind of brainless Mob you'd expect, a very powerful brainless Mob.

Still, Pakura didn't complain much, partly because she saw that Kimimaro truly respected Jugo deeply, but above all, their relationship had been progressing rapidly during their journey.

From simple gestures like tidying clothes or offering food, to the point where they literally sleep together, using only each other's warmth on cold days.

Kimimaro wanted to take the relationship further, but he had no idea how to proceed. Pakura found it amusing to watch Kimimaro constantly trying, so even though she felt she could have gone further, she didn't, all because she liked the feeling of being pursued.

The most fun part was when they split up in different cities to search, and Pakura would follow Kimimaro. The man would always go into a bookstore and look for books about relationships, some were quite silly, others incredibly spicy.

Pakura almost burst out laughing when Kimimaro tried to give her a 'seductive look', but luckily, she managed to hold back.

Pakura knew far more about the Land of Wind than anywhere else, so while Toji and Afro had to wander around like headless chickens, she managed to lead them smoothly to a city. Ironically, they arrived at the very city Toji and Afro had passed through before Saboten.
