After some time, Juno untied Damien and Juno reluctantly ate the breakfast Damien prepared. Both were now sitting at the small table in the kitchen.
Damien watched silently as Juno ate. He seemed… happy?
Juno looked up from her plate. Her eyebrows lower.
"Why are you staring at me like that?… creepy…"
He chuckled, leaning back in his chair across from her.
"Just glad your actually eating something. Not those protein bars you used to always have back in middle school. Actual food." He emphasized.
"How in the world did you know about that?!"
"Because I saw you always eating them?"
"You creep!"
She almost threw a fork at him if he didn't stop her. He held her wrist.
"WOAH! Careful there! Don't ruin my handsome face."
He slowly released her wrist and sat back down. He sighed of relief.
"You can get pretty scary at times. You know that?"
She rolled her eyes. Continuing to eat.

After breakfast he got up and took her plate. Going to wash the dishes. Still wearing that absurd pink "kiss the cook" apron. She turned and watched him move around the ktichen with one raised eyebrow.
"I can wash my own dishes, you know."
"I am aware. And I am washing them for you anyway."
She watches him in silence as he washes the dishes. After a while, she breaks the silence.
"Middle school." She said quietly.
"Hm?" He turned around to face her. "What did you say?"
"Middle school" she repeated. "I liked you since middle school… Damien. Not Azure."
He smiled. Nodding slightly.
"Ah, so you like the 'normal' me. Not my villain persona."
She scoffed, placing her elbow in the table to prop up her head.
"Your villian persona is annoying and too flashy."
He held a hand over his heart. Feigning hurt.
"You wound me, Juno! How could you say that about your boyfriend?"
She raised an eyebrow
"'Boyfriend'? Since when were we dating?!"
He chuckled awkwardly.
"Hee hee… whoops. Got ahead of myself. I meant to say 'future boyfriend'."
"What makes you so sure we'd start dating?!"
He picked up a towel and dried his hands as he walked over to her.
"Why wouldn't we? You like me, and I like you too."
"You make it sound so simple…"
"It doesn't have to be complicated, Juno… tell me: do you trust me?"
"Absolutely not." She said without hesitation.
He swings the towel on his shoulder and holds his hands up in surrender.
"It's okay. I get it. Hard to trust a villian… but just know, Red-eyes…" he pauses. Smiling down at her.
She raised an eyebrow.
"Know what?" She asks.
He placed a hand on the table, leaning over her.
"I love you~" he says sweetly.
She blushes from the unexpected statement. She gets up and moves away from him.
"Ugh! Don't just say that out of no where!!"
He laughs, a hearty and warm laugh.
"Alright, alright. No more teasing, I swear."
