Chapter 4 - Chapter 1

Next Year, The Hour of the Wolf

In the late hours of the night, the princess's dragon, Syrax, started making shattering roars from the confines of the Dragonpit, which rested atop the Hill of Rhaenys. The sounds broke the silence of the night, startling and awakening the sleeping city of King's Landing, as if the end of the world were about to happen. Lights began appearing across the houses and buildings of the capital as their residents, scared, scrambled frantically, jumping out of the comfort of their beds to see what the seven hells was happening.

In the royal apartment of the King inside Maegor's Holdfast and the Red Keep, Viserys woke amidst the disturbance of the screams and roars of the dragon. "What the hell is happening?" he asked with a dry mouth, his voice barely making a sound. Being a bit disoriented as he looked out of the window, Viserys saw that it was still night. He yelled, "Guards! Guards!"

Outside the king's apartment, Ser Steffon Darklyn and Ser Lorent Marbrand, who were on night watch, burst inside as soon as they heard the king yelling.

"My king!"

"What's happening out there?" Viserys looked at them as he rubbed his sleepy face.

"We don't know yet, Your Grace," Steffon replied, his head lowered.

The personal servants of Viserys, who slept in an adjoining room, also soon appeared because of the king's yelling.

"Your Grace," an old woman called out softly in the tense room. "Is there anything I could help with?"

"Laisa, go and fetch the Hand. I want to know what is happening. And you, Alora, help me get dressed."

...

The city watch, under the command of their commander, Ser Tarik Gaunt, and the Hand of the King, Lyonel Strong, started pouring into the streets to maintain order in the city as the roar of the she-dragon Syrax continued.

Amid all the troubles occurring in the city, in a private mansion inside King's Landing far from the castle, the source of the problem that was making the princess's dragon roar at the late hours of the night was at play.

Princess Rhaenyra, after her wedding with Ser Laenor Velaryon, had been separated from the prying eyes of the court and the realm in secrecy after her belly started to become too big to hide. Her husband lived in Driftmark all the time, not returning since their wedding day. So, the child growing inside her went unnoticed by everyone except a very small number of relevant people.

Inside the princess's chambers in the lavish mansion, Rhaenyra's back arched off the pillows as her body was slick with sweat, soaking the bedsheets along with the blood that poured out between her legs, painting the bed red. Her belly was far too big for this to be a simple pregnancy. Her fingers grasped the bedsheets so tightly they turned white from the force, and her nails dug into her flesh. A midwife held her from behind to keep her in a sitting position, while another tended to her, wiping the sweat from her forehead with a piece of clean cloth. Two other women at the sides had a basin with warm water and more towels and cloths at hand.

The pain was insufferable for the princess; she couldn't hold back her screams and was starting to cry as tears silently fell from her eyes. A dragon was gnawing at her insides, clawing its way out. She had heard birth was painful, an agony, but this... this was like being burned from the inside and feeling the pain of it.

"Push, Your Grace!" the head midwife barked, her voice hoarse from shouting. She was between the princess's legs, waiting for the moment the child would appear so she could assist it.

"I'm trying!" Rhaenyra snarled, her teeth bared. As she looked down at the midwife with tears staining her pale cheeks, she shouted, "I'm fucking trying, you stupid cunt!"

"But it hurts!! AAAAaaaghhh!"

When her uncle deflowered her, the little pain she felt at that moment was a bloody jest compared to what she was feeling now. There was no comparison; she could feel her insides rearranging and her opening expanding beyond measure, and there was no pleasure or joy in that. Only the raw pain of the experience. Her heart was pumping as if she were having a stroke, her body tense and sweating like a pig as she felt like she was being burned from the inside.

"Aahh..." She cried out in pain as she pushed and pushed with all her strength, as if she were having constipation. "Come on, baby. Get out of your mom."

"Oh fuck, no, hell no!"

"I really died?"

Rhaenyra heard someone yelling. "Who the fuck died?" the princess yelled, asking as she pushed with excruciating pain. "I'm the one dying here!"

"Princess???" The maids looked at Rhaenyra with wonder at her abrupt yell.

"Oh lord, the amount of bitches he would have. He would drown in pussy."

"You... who is the beast that is speaking? Who dares say those things?" Rhaenyra roared as she grabbed the maid tending her forehead with her hand, almost crushing her wrist from the force. "Send him out of my chambers and have him whipped."

"Visenya on his lap, Rhaenys massaging his shoulders from behind, and the whore of Alyssa Velaryon giving him head while the princess Argella Durrandon massaged his feet. That is paradise!"

"Ah! Who poked me? You—whatever you are, stop!"

"It hurts! Fuck! Don't bite!"

"Enough!" Rhaenyra roared. 'Visenya? Rhaenys? Being inside Visenya Targaryen's womb, about to be born before the conquest?' She couldn't believe what was happening around her. Someone had the gall to cause trouble while she was dying giving birth. 'What is this madness?'

"Guards! Guards!"

"Princess! Get a hold of yourself; there is nobody speaking here!" The head midwife worriedly looked at the princess with a terrified face, but they were in the middle of a childbirth. "Please keep pushing, princess! The baby is soon to be born."

Then Rhaenyra groaned in pain as her belly moved from side to side. The maids looked in wonder as something seemed to push from inside her belly, as if trying to get out.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH--" Rhaenyra yelled in agony. "Get him out! Get him out of me! Please!"

From outside the princess's bedroom, hearing the princess yelling for guards and her agonizing cry, the lord commander, Ser Harrold Westerling, who was tasked with protecting the princess all this time since she went into hiding by order of the King, burst into the room after the Red Keep woke up with the princess going into labor and the dragon making trouble.

"Princess!" Harrold yelled loudly as he strode in with his sword already in hand.

The midwives screamed in terror, seeing the Kingsguard with a sword in hand as they trembled, fearing for their lives where they stood.

"Seize the depraved man that is speaking!" the princess gasped with difficulty. "And get the fucking child out of me!!!!!!!"

And then—

A searing heat lanced up her spine. She gasped as something spread around her body like a numbing tingle. The pain she was feeling while pushing suddenly... it was...

—Gone.

The lord commander, Ser Harrold, looked around the princess's bedroom, but there was no man, only women: the servants and midwives tending to the princess. He looked at the women's terrified faces and then at the head midwife, who shook her head at him.

The lord commander didn't know what to do in such a delicate and worrisome situation.

"My princess... there is no man in this room."

Rhaenyra, meanwhile, had her eyes closed and was leaning against the maid behind her, relaxed. Feeling so happy that tears of happiness pooled at the corners of her eyes. The pain was gone! That feeling of dying was gone! She was so relieved that she didn't care about anything anymore.

"My princess?" Ser Harrold said.

"Yes?" She opened her eyes lazily with a smile and glistening eyes as she looked at him.

"There is no man making trouble here, princess..."

Rhaenyra, hearing that, started coming back to her senses as she looked around with a worried face. Was she going insane?

"No. It can't be. I can hear him clearly speaking."

She then noticed a soothing warmth spreading from her neck to all her body. Her left hand's fingers traced her slick, sweat-covered, pristine, and pale neck, but she didn't feel anything as she traced her skin.

The midwives, who were quiet and silent—lest the princess suddenly order them to be killed—did notice the mark but didn't comment on it.

The head midwife, seeing that everyone seemed to have forgotten they were in the middle of childbirth, came back to her senses as she looked again at the princess's expanding royal cunt. A head started appearing as the baby was coming out on its own.

"It is coming, Princess! The baby! Push, Princess!! Push!"

"Leave, Ser; there is no place here for someone like yourself at this moment," a midwife said to the lord commander.

Ser Harrold saw the princess about to give birth and left the room, seeing there was no trouble to her life. But the episode of madness and the mark that looked like a dragon on her neck was still present in his mind. He went out, and the first thing he did was bark to a servant.

"Go and wake up Grand Maester Mellos from his sleep and make sure that he is brought here at once to check on the princess. The princess is giving birth."

Then he looked at one of the guards and moved closer to him. "Notify personally and only the King. Tell him the princess is giving birth."

"Yes, lord commander." The guard nodded and left quickly.
