The six escaped super-villains stepped off a plane and finally arrived at their destination.
They were quickly led into a place resembling a warehouse—the rendezvous point given to them by the person who had rescued them.
"Welcome, Chameleon, Mysterio, Rhino, Scorpion, Shocker, Doctor Octopus—my Six Devils."A rough yet cultured voice echoed through the space.
"We're your Six Devils?"Doctor Octopus let out a cold laugh.
In his entire life, Doctor Octopus had never taken orders from anyone. If not for the fact that this man was supposedly the one who broke him out, he would have torn this place apart already.
"Who are you? Why did you bring us here?"
"I am your new leader. All of you are my secret weapons," the voice replied.
"Ha! I don't take orders from anyone!" Scorpion shouted. As a villain, he clearly had a massive ego.
"Watch your mouth," Shocker warned.
Rhino chimed in from the side, "Yeah, the one talking to us is Kingpin."
"Kingpin?!"Scorpion jolted in shock. Kingpin's name was thunderous in New York—honestly, it scared him a little."No… no way?"
"Look!"Mysterio suddenly pointed upward—toward the ceiling platform where they had arrived by helicopter.
A figure stood there now.
A figure in a red-and-blue spider suit.
"It's Spider-Man!" Doctor Octopus instantly recognized his old nemesis. "He's here too?"
"Get him!"Shocker moved first.
He thrust out his hands, and the vibro-gauntlets on his wrists unleashed a high-frequency shockwave toward Spider-Man.
Spider-Man flipped lightly off the platform, dodging the attack without a word.
Doctor Octopus immediately sent his mechanical tentacles grasping toward him.
Spider-Man dodged every strike.
But Octavius's attack forced Spider-Man down to the ground.
Scorpion seized the opening and charged.
He had only meant to block Spider-Man's escape route, but to his surprise, Spider-Man was knocked head-over-heels and crashed into a stack of crates.
What the—?Spider-Man got weaker?
Scorpion froze for a moment.
Then Rhino, already revved up, launched himself forward like a raging boar, his horn slamming straight into Spider-Man's chest.
BOOM!A thunderous impact.
Spider-Man flew across the room and hit the wall hard.
Then—
BOOM!
Another explosion.
Spider-Man blew apart.
He scattered across the floor as a pile of broken mechanical parts.
The six villains were stunned.
"Oh? Let me guess…"The usually slow Rhino actually began thinking. "So the famous Spider-Man was a robot all along!"
"You idiot. This obviously isn't the real Spider-Man—it's clearly a fake," Doctor Octopus said, deeply concerned about his teammate's IQ.
Hiss—
A large metal door slid open. A figure shaped like a double-door refrigerator stepped inside, followed by another man riding something that looked like a high-tech baby stroller.
Doctor Octopus immediately locked onto the fridge-sized figure."So, you're Kingpin? I appreciate the rescue, but I don't have time to play these pointless games."
"This is no game, I assure you."Kingpin stepped forward and crushed the robot Spider-Man's head under his foot."This is the real Spider-Man's future."
Seeing all eyes turn to him, Kingpin was quite pleased.
He continued,"First, we lure him out. And once he shows up… he'll never escape our grasp again."
"Tempting plan," Doctor Octopus muttered after holding it in for a long time, forcing out a half-hearted compliment. "But I already have my own plans."
"So do I," Mysterio added.
"You want to operate alone?" Kingpin asked.
Mysterio replied confidently, "The great masters always work alone."
Kingpin pierced the illusion mercilessly, pointing at all of them."And when you worked alone, what happened? You all know the answer."
"Prison! Gentlemen, we need each other. Combine your talents, and that little bug won't stand a chance."
"But from this moment on—you follow my lead."
"I'll follow you anywhere, boss," Shocker said first.
"Count me in too," Rhino added, putting his hand forward.
"I will learn from you, Kingpin," Chameleon said, showing off by morphing into Kingpin's appearance before adding his hand.
"Include me. This plan is smart, and the storyline will be very compelling," Mysterio said.
Seeing everyone else step up, Scorpion joined as well."It would be my honor to serve Mr. Kingpin."
Now only Doctor Octopus remained.
Kingpin turned toward him."And you, Doctor Octopus?"
Of all of them, he valued Octavius the most—because Octavius possessed not only power but intelligence. He was the best among them.
"I'm not employed by anyone," Doctor Octopus said with a shake of his head. "I am a scientist."
The implication was clear—he wasn't interested in wasting time fighting Spider-Man.
Kingpin thumped his chest."I can give you the finest laboratory and endless resources."
That got to Octavius immediately.
He had become a so-called villain only because he lacked research funding—forcing him to risk everything for money and experimental materials.
"Spider-Man has no idea what he's about to face…"
At last, Doctor Octopus agreed to join the alliance against Spider-Man.

Peter truly had no idea what awaited him.
After sensing the call from this world's Spider-Man, he connected to the Luminous Web, arrived in this world, and merged with him.
He instantly absorbed vast amounts of information.
"Spider-Man is losing his powers?"
