Chapter 12 - 12

The Invisible Man walked out of the filming location and headed towards the underground parking lot.

The moment The Invisible Man stepped into the underground parking lot, a chilling aura of death quickly spread.

A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, disguised as a HYDRA member, appeared and attacked him with a weapon.

"Hey, big brother, that's not a wise choice," The Invisible Man quipped, swiftly activating his unique invisibility ability.

His figure instantly vanished from everyone's sight, as if he had merged with the surroundings. The HYDRA agent's vision went black, and he looked around helplessly.

"Where did he go?" the other agents beside him anxiously muttered.

"He's invisible. Activate thermal imaging," the HYDRA agents immediately said, activating their thermal imaging.

Suddenly, an agent felt a chill on his neck. He instinctively reached up to touch it, only to feel a cold blade.

"Don't worry, big brother, I won't let you get away that easily," The Invisible Man's voice echoed in the agent's ear, carrying a light and humorous tone.

The agent turned to look for The Invisible Man, but saw no one. The Invisible Man instantly materialized beside him, dagger in hand, a playful smile on his face.

Swish!

Blood splattered!

"You guys are really stubborn," The Invisible Man said mockingly.

The HYDRA agents angrily raised their weapons and attacked, but each time they only hit air. The Invisible Man dodged flexibly, sometimes appearing beside the agents, and sometimes vanishing again.

"Your attacks are truly ineffective," The Invisible Man scoffed, his figure darting around the agents, leaving them helpless.

Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!

One by one, the agents' necks spurted blood, and they fell into pools of blood like powerless airplanes.

Feeling the movement behind him, a HYDRA agent, wielding a katana, struck downwards. The Invisible Man's fist flashed with a lightning-like glow, hitting the agent's chest. The agent fell to the ground in pain, unable to move.

"The little gadgets from the weapon development department are quite useful, aren't they?" The Invisible Man shook the switchable electric shock glove on his hand.

The Invisible Man slowly walked over to the agent, looking down at him with a proud smile.

"Next time, remember not to easily challenge the Superhero The Invisible Man," The Invisible Man said confidently, then quickly disappeared into the underground parking lot.

As for his car, he figured it was a lost cause. The Invisible Man knew what kind of people these guys were; his car had probably already been rigged with a bomb.

"Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep."

"Looks like another failure," Sitwell said, looking at a gloomy Rumlow.

"Cut the crap," Rumlow said, annoyed, looking at the fallen HYDRA agents on the screen.

"What do you say? Still going? The minister said to stop," Sitwell pouted, sipping the red wine in his hand.

Rumlow didn't speak, but instead, his face ashen, he left his seat.

Sitwell shrugged and muttered to himself, "I told you, assassination, assassination, a Barrett from the shadows would have finished it. But no, they like to capture them alive, they want test subjects. See?"

For a while after that, HYDRA seemed to calm down, no longer launching attacks against Nathan Hawke and the Superheroes.

Inside the filming location.

"Ah ah ah ah!" Andre clutched his head in pain, looking at the script in front of him, feeling overwhelmed.

Andre initially thought acting was very easy, that he just had to be himself, and then he could party hard at night.

But the truth was, Andre thought back to a few days ago.

"All three of you must act seriously in your first movie. Understand?" Nathan Hawke and Wesker, who was behind him, looked at them sternly.

Oh, Wesker was wearing sunglasses.

Although Andre wanted to retort that he was a Superhero, and acting was just a bonus, he saw his good friend, The Invisible Man, with a look that said, "Boss, everything you say is right," and closed his mouth.

"This script, along with the producer and special effects, are top-notch. None of you are allowed to slack off," Nathan Hawke looked at the three of them very seriously, of course, mainly at Andre and Electro.

As for The Invisible Man, Nathan Hawke didn't need to worry about him; he was more than familiar with such matters.

Nathan Hawke also wouldn't tell the three of them that he was having them film to increase their fame, establish the Superhero team, and boost his summoning fluctuations.

"Act well, meeting adjourned," Nathan Hawke said, then dismissed the three of them.

Andre sat on the steps, shaking his head to clear his agitated mood, and looked at the "heroine" engrossed in her role beside him.

"She's really beautiful. I wonder if she'd be interested in enjoying the night sky with me," Andre licked his lips, looking at her perky backside.

The heroine turned her head and gave Andre a charming smile, which made Andre instantly stand up and couldn't help but curse, "She's really hot!"

Meanwhile, Electro was performing with great excitement. Ever since he came to this World, Electro had been exclaiming that he had come to the right place.

Came to the right place, meow, came to the right place, thank you, meow.

While Electro gained a lot of attention, his life was also very comfortable. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Nathan Hawke was his second parent.

Looking at the people around him, who were either adoring or fawning over him, showing their affection.

Electro could only say, "So cool!"

"Max, prepare for the next scene," the director kindly called out to Electro.

"I'm ready, director," Electro smiled and waved to him, quickly getting into character.

Defeat "Spider-Man"?

My "Electro King" had long since thrown that away.

Now it was "Big Star" "Superhero" Electro Max.

Electro was in a state of euphoria yet also self-aware.

Nathan Hawke nodded as his secretary reported on Andre and Electro's work status.

"Later, give them a call and tell them to fight some criminals in their free time," Nathan Hawke waved his hand, dismissing the secretary.

At the same time, he prepared to greet Justin Hammer, who was about to arrive.

"Wow, big boss," Justin Hammer said to Nathan Hawke with open arms after stepping through the automatic door.

"Cut the act, how are things going?" Nathan Hawke took an '82 vintage red wine, uncorked it, and poured it in one fluid motion.

"Thank you," Justin Hammer said, taking the wine glass. "I've bribed quite a few people recently: politicians, senators on our side, and a few Military Major Generals. But now both the politicians and the Military want to invest. I hope the Military invests. Of course, in another way, which is to use my, or rather, our weapons to fund the Military."

Nathan Hawke nodded, "That's not bad, a win-win situation. But I heard your orders have exploded recently. Won't you lose money giving them to the Military for free?"

Justin Hammer smiled slyly, "They're all outdated stuff anyway, so it's fine to give them away. The development department is currently researching new missiles. I've even thought of a name for them: 'Ex-Wife Missiles'." Justin Hammer immediately looked smug.

"Oh, and I've prepared the contract. We each give three percent to the Military, and that should satisfy them," Justin Hammer finally got to the point.

"Alright," Nathan Hawke nodded in agreement, as this was something he had already agreed upon with Justin Hammer.

"With the Military backing us, and senators on our side, and also because Superheroes have human rights, the hearing can't be held. However..." Justin Hammer showed a very happy smile.

Without waiting for Nathan Hawke to speak, he downed the red wine, "They plan to hold a hearing specifically for Stark, for Iron Man's name."

Justin Hammer snorted coldly, then continued, "If it weren't for his godfather pulling strings for him, would he be where he is today? This time, his godfather won't be there to smooth things over for him. He'll have to go to the hearing himself." He finished with a cruel smile: "What do you think, if at the hearing, these senators discover Stark's weakness..."

"Then his Stark Industries will be torn to shreds by 'capital' and 'politicians'."

Justin Hammer showed a delighted expression, as if he had already seen the scene of Stark Industries Group on the verge of bankruptcy.

"I remember they were recently planning to rename the group to Stark Energy or something similar?" Nathan Hawke swirled his wine glass, then drank it all.

"Yes, they're renaming it," Justin Hammer instantly deflated again.

Justin Hammer was actually overjoyed when he learned that Stark was no longer playing in the "weapons" arena, but then...

He went to play in "energy," something even more advanced than weapons.

His energy could be a weapon, but his weapons were not energy. Justin Hammer couldn't be more jealous.

Nathan Hawke didn't speak either, but looking at the other's expression. In the Iron Man 2 plot, Justin Hammer, as a group boss, was indeed quite formidable.

The hearing, testing Tony Stark's courage.

Ivan Vanko, with wisdom no less than Tony Stark's.

The weapon display, competing with Tony Stark's iron man armor, and with strength in numbers, it looked very formidable.

To be fair, if Tony Stark wasn't the protagonist, then yes, this series of punches would indeed be hard to withstand.

At the same time, Nathan Hawke also felt sorry for Justin Hammer.

The other party's backer at this moment was S.H.I.E.L.D., and they were the ones propping up Tony Stark, allowing him to be a dragon among your Iron Legion.

Looking at Justin Hammer, who was excited and fantasizing about how Stark's company would go bankrupt.

Nathan Hawke could only accompany him and laugh heartily.

"Hahahahahahaha."

"Hehehehehehehe."

And this scene left The Invisible Man, who was hiding nearby, speechless.
