The Konoha Ninja Academy.
The Academy held a six year course to train the future generations of shinobi to become the backbone of the village.
Generally speaking, kids enroll at the age of six and become genins at the age of 12. This schedule made sure that the village had a steady supply of shinobis without compromising the childhood of the new generation.
Of course, it only applied to peaceful times like the present. The wartime protocals were vastly different and usually depended on the actual war situation rather than a set precedent.
Today was the day where Shino would start his journey as an Academy student. Naturally, he had no plans to stay in the academy for six years. After awakening chakra a year ago, he understood how the system worked.
The system wasn't a complete cheat code as in he wouldn't become a jonin or kage level shinobi without any work.
This system prioritized hard work and accomplishments. But Shiro was sure that the system would make sure his talent didn't get in the way of his journey to the top.
As he awakened his chakra, he was granted all five chakra natures and has bloodline was awakened. Now that he officially became an academy student, the system once again flashed a new message in front of his eyes.

Shiro checked the rewards and he found the manuals on his mind. He had access to the basics of a standard Genjutsu, the three basic ninjutsu: Clone Jutsu, Substitution Jutsu and Transformation Jutsu and the Konoha style Kenjutsu. It was extremely detailed and reading through the manual once, his eyes shined brightly.
Diving deeper into the manuals, Shiro realized that each of these techniques were beginner friendly manuals that were not necessarily powerful but they laid an incredible foundation for the practitioner.
The first day of the academy was pretty dull.
Usoke Genmaru, their homeroom teacher was a chunin who had been teaching for quite a while in the academy. As Shiro made his way to his class 4H, he noticed a figure inside the classroom and he recognized him instantly.
'Uchiha Itachi?"
The genius of the Uchiha clan was his classmate?
As he was looking at Itachi, Itachi also turned towards him and their gazes met but neither of them said anything. Shiro walked into a bench near the window towards the back and sat alone.
'So he's the guy Shisui told me about.' mused Itachi but refrained from initiating any contact.
The class started pretty soon and Genmaru taught the basics of chakra and the history of Konoha.
It was the classic indoctrination of the Leaf village and the talk about the Will of Fire was as cliche as it could get.
Having learned most of the things from Shinki already, Shiro discreetly monitored the class but didn't find anyone noteworthy other than Itachi.
Shiro instead decided to study the manuals in depth and the first day of his academy life ended without any excitement.
Initially, he had thought about socializing with Itachi but he quickly removed that thought from his head.
Now was not the time to alert the Uchiha clan and the radicals of that clan.
Shiro, who had moved to the academy hostel, wasted no time and immediately dived right into training his new skills. Shinki had only trained him the extreme basics of chakra manipulation and chakra control while refraining from teaching him any jutsus.
Shiro decided to allocate most of his time to Ninjutsu and Kenjutsu for now. He recalled the things mentioned in the three Basic Ninjutsu manal.
Transformation Jutsu.
According to the manual, there were two parts to this jutsu: molding the body into the desired shape using chakra and applying another layer of chakra to mimic the desired transformation.
The manual recommended the cloaking aspect first and the molding aspect to be learned separately so Shiro decided to learn cloaking first.
Circulating his chakra, he covered his entire body in chakra and made a seal to activate the transformation better.
Poof!
He wanted to transform into Itachi as they had similar builds but he failed to maintain the chakra evenly resulting in a grotesque looking mimic instead of Itachi.
Shiro wasn't expecting to succeed in one go so he wasn't that disappointed. Instead he started thinking about what went wrong when another panel appeared in front of him.

Looking at the panel in front of him, he finally understood what the specialized training manual meant.
Upon looking at the mistakes detected my the system, he immediately started training.
Eleven attempts later, he finally transformed into Itachi but as soon as he tried moving the Jutsu failed and he transformed back to himself.

He also looked at the Genjutsu manual and studied the technique in detail.
The technique taught him to use Yin release and create a comforting aura around the target to make them lower their guards.
Unfortunately, he would need to make hand seals to unleash the jutsu and the only way to bypass it was the use of a doujutsu or an extremely fine chakra control.
