"Stargazing?"
I don't know if sounds could be cute.
But right then, you sounded cute.
I laughed,
masking out words which had been dying to escape for eight years now.
Why is this so sinfully delicious?
The evening fell around you in pink streaks,
its blue lacing in and out.
Youstood out.
"Yep," I said,
"I don't know when it started
but before I knew, I was in
love with the stars and the night sky."
'And you,' the words were
really dying to come out.
And with the way your desert eyes
glittered
against the turquoise magenta
Of the sky,
Maybe
you were in love with
me and my everything too.
Was it really that simple?
