Chapter 12 - Surrounded by Enemies

As for the man named Mohammed Faiz, Aryan had ordered him killed after Paras told him that someone had hacked the CCTV footage from that time showing Suryansh had executed Faiz's companions. Aryan made that decision because he knew Mohammed Faiz was a criminal, and in Aryan's view killing a criminal was not wrong at all.

Within minutes, Naresh—who had been monitoring the footage—recognized Aryan's car and immediately alerted his men.

He sent out an urgent order:

"Find that person. Don't let him escape this time."

When Aryan was about to step out of his house and start his car, his driver — the same man who had brought him from the airport — came up and stood before him. In a pleading voice he said, "Young Master, you're not yet eighteen. You shouldn't be going out like this. If you need to go anywhere, please tell me — I'll personally take you there."

Aryan looked at him, then said, "Mahaveer uncle, I know you worry about me, but the task I'm going to now is extremely important. It's so crucial that I can't involve anyone else. That's why I'm trying to leave quietly at this hour."

Hearing this, Mahaveer fell silent. His full name was Mahaveer Sharma; he had served the Rathore family since Aryan's grandfather's generation. If one spoke of his power level, he was currently at the King-level Peak. Though his actual age was one hundred and fifty years, he looked no more than thirty — because when a warrior reached the King-level , they could easily live for five hundred years. When Aryan's father had left Planet earth, he had ordered every trusted servant to keep constant watch on Aryan, because Aryan had always been highly daring; he never missed an opportunity for a stunt when one presented itself.

So there were always people keeping an eye on Aryan. When Aryan was at home, the Rathore family's trusted men did not hover over him constantly — but at night, or at any time when secrecy mattered, they watched him from a distance.

That night, one of the men who was on watch saw Aryan leaving the house without informing anyone and immediately informed Mahaveer Sharma. Mahaveer wasted no time and came straight to Aryan.

When Mahaveer asked why Aryan was leaving, he thought for a moment, then said, "Young Master, forgive me, but however important your task may be, you cannot go alone. The Old Master ordered that you must not be left unaccompanied, and we cannot disobey his command. Even if it means we are punished by you later."

Aryan felt a warmth in his chest at the sight of such loyal people — loyalty like that was rare these days. Still, he had already decided he wouldn't take anyone with him on this mission. He looked carefully around and realized that about twenty people were standing nearby, all at King-level Peak. He understood he couldn't leave the place alone. After thinking briefly, he vanished from his spot in the next instant — and knocked everyone around him unconscious with a single, sweeping gesture, except for his driver Mahaveer Sharma.

Then he turned to Mahaveer and said, "Uncle, if I wanted, I could eliminate you just as easily. It wouldn't be difficult for me. So I want you to step back. And take care of these bodyguards after I leave. I only want to tell you that I'm going on an extremely dangerous mission — you won't be able to handle this. I may be facing a terrifying enemy who could be an Emperor-level warrior."

Hearing the seriousness in Aryan's voice, Mahaveer was completely certain that he had to stop Aryan by any means. "Do as you wish, Young Master," he said, "but I can't let you go alone."

Seeing Mahaveer's stubbornness, Aryan sighed deeply. In the next instant he pressed a vein at the side of Mahaveer's neck; Mahaveer fell completely unconscious. Aryan breathed a quiet sigh of relief and then began to get into the car.

As Aryan was about to seat himself, someone interrupted, "Where are you going at this hour?" He turned to see who had spoken. It was Kavya. "I'm going out on an urgent matter," Aryan replied, "so please don't question me. And when I leave, wake the driver and the rest of the bodyguards." With that he tossed a small bottle toward Kavya and drove off.

Kavya watched him go, confused. She didn't know why Aryan had knocked everyone out, but she intended to do exactly what he asked. About five minutes later, Kavya had successfully woken every one of Aryan's bodyguards and the driver Mahaveer Sharma.

The moment Mahaveer regained consciousness he shouted, "Catch the young master quickly! He's got himself into really big trouble!"

Kavya was startled. "Uncle, forgive me, but what are you talking about? Aryan told me not to follow him." She used the familiar term "uncle" because Aryan had told her everything about Mahaveer earlier. At first she thought Aryan had lied to her, but when she looked into his eyes she saw sincerity and realized he wasn't lying. Still, she had no idea how any of it could be true. Despite her confusion, she decided to trust Aryan.

Mahaveer scolded her, "Girl, how could you let the young master go? Didn't you see that he rendered all of us unconscious? You didn't understand his plan at all." Embarrassed, Kavya lowered her head. She felt it wasn't right to reproach Aryan — there must be some reason behind what he did. Besides, everyone he'd knocked out belonged to him.

Watching Mahaveer flare up, a man standing nearby stepped forward to calm him. "Mahaveer, we know she made a mistake. But more importantly, how did the young master manage to render all of us unconscious? What did he tell you before leaving?" At the man's urging, Mahaveer explained everything Aryan had said before departing.

Hearing Mahaveer's account, the people gathered around were shocked — even Kavya couldn't dismiss it lightly. One of the men said solemnly, "We must inform Suryansh immediately. He's the only warrior among us who might be able to handle this."

Mahaveer shook his head in disagreement. "No — Suryansh can't handle this. He hasn't reached Emperor-level yet. His strength is comparable to the early-stage Emperor-level warriors, but we don't know at which stage the enemy the young master is going to face is. He might be much stronger."

Another man standing next to Mahaveer asked, "How could anyone outside the Rathore family reach Emperor-level on this planet? We need to inform the Old Master at once." Mahaveer replied, "We can't do anything now — Young Master has already left. By the time the Old Master learns of this, it will be too late."

"Then activate the Shadow Army," Mahaveer ordered. "We must support the young master at any cost. Even if some of us have to give our lives, we must stand with him."

At Mahaveer's words, everyone nodded in agreement and began readying themselves for a huge battle.

Just as they were doing so, a shimmering barrier rose around them and a voice — Aryan's voice — echoed: "I know you all worry about me, but you can't help me in this. And if you're concerned I might die in this fight, you're completely mistaken. You should know that I am Aryan Singh Rathore, and I have many methods to save myself even when I'm close to death. So you needn't worry so much about me."

Hearing Aryan's voice, Mahaveer Sharma and his companions were utterly stunned. They realized that once Aryan had already placed that barrier around them, none of them could get out — and they had been with the Rathore family for a very long time; they had seen such things before when the Old Master went on dangerous missions.

Aryan was now moving quickly in a direction. In afternoon, while he was at his new house, Paras had discovered that someone had hacked the CCTV near the airport to watch the fight scenes. That was when Aryan realized his opponent was by no means weak. So he decided then and there not to take anyone with him — having others would only increase needless risk, which Aryan absolutely did not want. He therefore planned to leave his house alone and quietly.

Aryan's car sped along, and using Paras's help he was hacking every CCTV and electronic device in the places he passed — but as soon as he moved on, those cameras and devices returned to normal. Aryan did this because he knew that if his enemy turned out to be stronger than him, many people connected to him could suffer; he did not want that.

When Aryan reached a certain point, he got out of the car and disabled all his defenses. Naresh immediately traced him, and as soon as Naresh located Aryan he informed Mayank. The moment Mayank learned Aryan's position he decided to mobilize and attack with all his men.

At that moment Mayank had more than a hundred thousand Element Warriors with him. They had gathered at various points around Mumbai, and ordinary bystanders were shocked to see so many warriors in one place. Word soon reached the Mumbai police, and just as the commissioner was about to take action he received a call from a Maharashtra politician; after that call the commissioner took no action. Later it would be revealed whether that call was placed by Aryan or by Mayank.

Mayank and his Element Warriors moved swiftly toward Aryan. There were not even a hundred thousand Element Warriors in the whole of India, so Mayank had secretly brought in warriors from neighboring countries — naturally the government had not been informed. He had also received help from Naresh and his associates.

Once Aryan left the city he slowed the car. Although he was not yet eighteen, he knew how to drive very well, so he handled the car like a professional.

Soon Mayank and his men came within a one-kilometre range of Aryan. When Paras alerted Aryan, he once again increased the car's speed because he knew the coming fight would be brutal — and if it happened in a crowded area countless innocents could be killed, something Aryan would never allow.

Mayank saw a fast car approaching and checked its license plate. He immediately realized that his target was inside that car. He ordered his companions: "Friends, the man we're after is in that car ahead of us. At all costs we must kill him. Don't worry — whoever kills him will receive a huge reward." Hearing Mayank, the Element Warriors grew excited and together declared war on Aryan. They didn't stop to consider why the man in front had come alone — whether it might be a trap.

The Element Warriors raced to surround Aryan's car; they were extremely fast and could easily overtake any vehicle at full speed. Soon they had encircled the car from all sides.

When Aryan saw this he smiled and stepped out of the car. Mayank, furious at the sight, rose to his feet. Naresh, who was sitting some distance away, also looked disappointed.

Mayank shouted at Aryan, "Boy, why are you sitting in that car? Don't you know sitting in a car like that could cost you your life? Fine — if you're driving it, we'll kidnap you and then pull out the man who killed Mohammed Faiz and the others." With that he ordered his men, "Go — seize this boy. Because that man had brutally tortured my son's chief bodyguard, i sought revenge against the boy standing before him. Mayank didn't know that Aryan had already had Mohammed Faiz killed—Aryan learned through his system, Paras, that someone had hacked the CCTV cameras around the afternoon fight. Aryan made that decision because he knew Faiz was a criminal, and in his view killing a criminal was not wrong.

Two Element Warriors stepped forward and advanced on Aryan. One of them barked, "Kid, surrender immediately. We'll break your arms and legs and take you away from here." Aryan laughed. "Is that so? Then I want to see how you break my arms and legs," he said, provoking them.

Angered by Aryan's taunt, the Element Warrior launched himself at Aryan. He controlled his power and landed a punch on Aryan's shoulder. Aryan couldn't help laughing. He stopped the attacker's punch in midair, then slapped the warrior lightly across the face. The attacker's body was instantly obliterated, collapsing into a ruined heap.
