Chapter 150: Sudden Change
At the moment Chibaku Tensei fully condensed into form, the Animal Path, who remained outside, immediately activated a summoning technique and summoned Tendo Pain out from within the Chibaku Tensei.
Tendo Pain appeared before the Animal Path in a miserable state. His clothes were already tattered, blood flowed continuously from his body, and half of his form was visibly twisted, as if the bones within had already been shattered.

Though still puzzled, the surrounding shinobi bowed and returned to the village. Terumi Mei remained at the gate, looking at the colossal meteor in the distant sky, a rare trace of concern flashing in her eyes.
On the battlefield—
Through Tendo, Nagato observed everything and slowly let out a breath. The pressure Yuto had placed on him earlier had been immense, but Chibaku Tensei was a technique capable of sealing a tailed beast. In that regard, Nagato still held some confidence.
Just as Tendo prepared to act again, the giant meteor suspended in midair suddenly trembled.
In the next instant, a deafening roar exploded across the sky. The enormous mass shattered into countless fragments that rained down like a storm of stone.
A chakra chain pierced through Tendo's chest at lightning speed.
At the same time, a dark figure appeared before the Animal Path. Yuto casually thrust his palm forward, and before the Animal Path could react, a violent surge of energy blasted it into dust.
With a thought, Yuto pulled Tendo—still skewered by the chakra chain—directly before him.
"So this is the self-proclaimed god of overwhelming power?" Yuto asked flatly, looking at Tendo suspended in midair.
"Your strength is indeed formidable. But even in failure, I remain a god walking among mortals. Even at the cost of my life, I will bring peace to this shinobi world!"
Tendo's voice remained calm as ever.
"Peace?" Yuto raised an eyebrow.
"Through absolute power, the entire shinobi world will know pain! When such suffering spreads everywhere, fear will restrain the heart, and war will cease to exist!"
Tendo looked into the distance, conviction lacing his voice.
Yuto did not mock him. In a certain sense, the peace Nagato envisioned was not so different from his own.
Yuto sought peace through unification of the shinobi world to end endless war. It was simply that the concept of unification did not yet exist in this era.
"You are the First Mizukage, Yuto?" Tendo suddenly asked.
"That's right."
Yuto was momentarily surprised but admitted it openly. There was no longer any need to conceal his identity.
"So it is."
At Yuto's confirmation, Nagato's heart trembled. After witnessing the Shinsuusenju left behind by Senju Hashirama, Nagato had spent time investigating the First Mizukage.
There was little information available, but one fact was certain: the First Mizukage Yuto once possessed the terrifying strength to resist both Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara together.
Nagato's eyes flickered. Even so, he would not surrender. This was the final justice he still clung to.
Just as Nagato prepared for Tendo to unleash its final strength, Konan—standing guard beside him—suddenly lifted her head and looked toward a direction within the forest.
Not far from them, a spiral vortex appeared in the air. From it emerged Uchiha Obito and Zetsu.
"Well now, this location was quite well hidden. It took us some time to find it," Uchiha Obito said with a playful tone.
Konan's expression changed instantly, killing intent flashing in her eyes as she stared at Obito and Zetsu.
"Why are you two here?"
White Zetsu scratched his head and grinned. "Of course we came to ask for your help."
"We do not require help here."
Konan's hands beneath her cloak were already forming hand seals, ready to strike at any moment.
"Oh? Konan-sama may have misunderstood. We are not here to help you—we are here to ask the leader for assistance."
Uchiha Obito's gaze shifted toward Nagato as he spoke lightly.
Nagato slowly straightened from the specialized apparatus supporting him and looked calmly at Obito. "You want my help?"
"That's right. I hope to borrow the leader's Rinnegan."
The forest fell into dead silence at those words.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
In an instant, dozens of paper blades shot toward Uchiha Obito and Zetsu like kunai.
Traitors—must die!
At the same time, a cold expression appeared on Nagato's stiff face as he raised his hand and pressed it against the air.
Summoning Technique!
With a burst of smoke, Tendo—previously bound by Yuto—appeared before Nagato.
On the other side of the battlefield—
Watching Tendo suddenly vanish, Yuto's eyelid twitched slightly.
"Just a little more time and I would have locked onto your location. But I already know the general direction. I hope I'm not too late."
The ground beneath his feet cracked instantly. Yuto transformed into a streak of light and vanished, rushing toward Nagato's location.
