"The sealed stone door is going to open?"
That day, Ethan was called by Professor Harris to Sandslash's Secret Kingdom.
At that moment, on the vast plain, the sealed stone door stood silently.
At the same time, all kinds of high-precision instruments had already been installed around the sealed stone door.
Beside those instruments stood Mamoswine's enormous figure.
And behind Mamoswine, a large number of Rock-type Pokémon could be seen gathered.
These Rock-type Pokémon were precisely the ones Professor Harris had requested from the Pokémon Researchers Guild to cooperate with the research.
Without exception, all of these Pokémon mastered the move Ancient Power!
Originally, they planned to wait until Mamoswine's Ancient Power move became strong enough before attempting to open the sealed stone door.
But who would have imagined that, after seeing that they were about to open the sealed stone door and release the Regirock inside, Professor Harris could no longer wait.
After Professor Harris found a way to bring these Pokémon capable of using the move Ancient Power, the problem of the energy needed for the sealed stone door was also directly solved.
"That's right. Today, the sealed stone door is about to open."
Professor Harris nodded, looking at the sealed stone door in the field with expectation.
As a researcher specializing in Rock and Ground-type Pokémon, no one could resist the temptation of a Rock-type Legendary Pokémon.
"Professor Harris, everything is ready."
At that moment, Alex also walked over and spoke. His tone was equally full of excitement.
Seeing this, Ethan also released Lucario and had it directly use the move Copycat to copy the move Ancient Power.
Although Lucario was not skilled at using the move Ancient Power, its own Elite-level strength made up for that!
Under these circumstances, the power of the Ancient Power move used by Lucario was also crucial to opening the sealed stone door.
"Ethan, when Regirock appears, I'll leave the battle to you."
After completing the preparations, Professor Harris looked at Ethan and spoke very seriously.
After all, Regirock was a Legendary Pokémon. Even after a long period sealed away, its strength would surely not be weak.
According to the strength shown by that Registeel inside the sealed iron door that the Silver family opened at the time, Regirock's strength would undoubtedly be close to the Elite level, or perhaps it had even already reached that level!
Under these circumstances, only Ethan, who possessed Elite-level combat strength, could suppress Regirock.
"Don't worry, leave it to me."
Ethan nodded. Now he had three Elite-level Pokémon in his hands, so facing Regirock would not be any problem.
If possible, he even wanted to directly defeat Regirock through a one-on-one battle.
Only in that way would he have the possibility of obtaining Regirock's recognition and successfully capturing it.
And that was also the reason why he had established the place to release Regirock inside Sandslash's Secret Kingdom.
In Sandslash's Secret Kingdom, there were rocks everywhere. It could be said to be completely Regirock's main terrain.
Only under these circumstances could Regirock display its true strength, and that was a very important premise for capturing it.
Otherwise, he could have placed the battlefield on a water terrain, completely unfavorable to Regirock, or at least in a laboratory without rocks.
But if he did that, everything would lose meaning. Even if he defeated Regirock, it would be very difficult to obtain its recognition.
Very soon, under the operation of Professor Harris, Professor Reynolds, and Alex, all the instruments in the field began to function.
At the same time, Lucario, Mamoswine, and all the Pokémon used the move Ancient Power, injecting their strength into the instruments.
Amid the rumbling, the instruments gathered all the power. Then they condensed it into a single point and transformed it into a beam of light that shot directly toward the sealed stone door.
Boom!
A rumble echoed.
Powerful energy began to flow through the sealed stone door.
Under the effect of the move Ancient Power, it could be seen that the carving of Regirock on the sealed stone door began to light up.
Craaac.
With a deep and heavy sound, the stone door opened.
Immediately, everyone's gazes fell on the figure standing inside the space beyond the door.
Regirock's body was formed from gray and orange rocks. On the front part of its head, it had an "H"-shaped pattern made up of seven orange dots.
It had two thick rock arms, and its hands were two enormous gray rocks. Its shoulders were formed by enormous and tall orange rocks shaped like thorns. Its torso was a cylindrical rock with an irregular surface. On the left side of its chest and on its right leg, it had two orange parts. On its back, it had three thorns formed from orange rocks, aligned vertically, as well as an inconspicuous gray rock tail.
"Regirock, the Legendary Pokémon Regirock!"
Seeing that figure, Professor Harris immediately became excited.
"Reggiickk!"
On the other side, after the sealed stone door opened, Regirock also slowly opened its eyes.
Accompanied by a roar, that Legendary Pokémon, whose body was filled with an ancient aura, awakened.
When its figure walked out of the sealed stone door, the entire earth began to tremble.
In an instant, sand and stones flew all over the field.
Countless rocks suddenly floated into the air and then began gathering around Regirock.
Grabbing one of the floating rocks, Regirock directly swallowed it.
After ingesting the rock, Regirock's aura clearly strengthened, and some damaged parts of its body began to repair themselves.
Regirock, as an Eternal Pokémon, possessed the ability to quickly repair its body and recover energy by devouring rocks.
"Ethan, are you still not going to act?"
Seeing Regirock's movements, Alex asked with concern.
Now Regirock's aura was becoming stronger and stronger, and that made him uneasy.
Back then, at the Silver family, they had used all kinds of methods to weaken Registeel's power.
But now, with Ethan, not only was he not weakening Regirock, he even seemed to want to allow it to recover its strength.
A Regirock in perfect condition would undoubtedly be an Elite-level Pokémon. And moreover, as a Legendary Pokémon, its strength would surely be superior to that of an ordinary Pokémon of that level.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. Only in this way can I truly obtain Regirock's recognition."
"Don't forget that Lucas ultimately relied on Blaziken to defeat Registeel and capture it. But under those circumstances, it isn't easy to obtain Registeel's recognition."
"I think that perhaps even now, he still hasn't managed to completely subdue Registeel. Otherwise, with the Silver family's character, they would already be promoting it everywhere."
Ethan looked at Regirock in the field and smiled. The pride of Legendary Pokémon was not something common. Wanting to capture them completely was very difficult. After all, becoming a Divine Envoy was not simple at all!
