Its claws condensed into half-meter-long ice talons, gleaming with bone-chilling cold.
The frosty claws slashed directly for Yan Hao's heart. The move, packed with deadly intent, sent razor-sharp winds stabbing into the group's faces.

Blue Dou Qi surged into his sword, which expanded rapidly, its form flickering with swirling wind. Space itself began to distort around him.
"Everyone, hold it off!"
Lin Xiuya shouted, his grip tightening.
Sensing the power gathering above, Xiao Yuan and the others doubled down, launching more furious attacks to keep the beast distracted.
The Snow Demon Ape felt the looming danger. Its hair stood on end. With a savage roar, a blast of cold energy erupted, freezing stone wherever it touched.
Yan Hao and the yellow-robed youth had to retreat quickly, dodging the frost wave.
With them forced back, the Snow Demon Ape grinned savagely, leaped skyward, and charged at Lin Xiuya, bloodlust raging in its crimson eyes.
Its claw slashed down, aiming to shatter Lin Xiuya's skull.
And then—
A figure blinked into place in front of Lin Xiuya.
"Ten-Thousand Bloom Ice Mirror."
A calm voice echoed.
A wave of extreme cold exploded outward. Black frost Dou Qi formed countless mirrored ice crystals in the air, reflecting rainbow colors like blooming flowers.
Alone, the technique couldn't block a three-star Dou Wang.
So Xiao Yuan opened his mouth—and breathed out black fire.
The flames fused with the ice mirrors. Each crystal now pulsed with a flickering black flame.

The ape's strike slammed down.

The mirror groaned but didn't shatter.
Frustrated, the Snow Demon Ape struck again. This time, the mirror shattered deliberately, unleashing all the embedded black flames. The infernal fire clung to the beast, beginning to melt its protective ice armor.
At that moment, Lin Xiuya's back shuddered—two green Dou Qi wings unfurled. He soared higher, overtaking Xiao Yuan, his sword vibrating with a high-pitched screech as the air around him trembled.

The sword aimed at the plummeting Snow Demon Ape. Though it had launched itself into the sky, it lacked footing to dodge in midair.
It could only roar and activate a defensive barrier—a pale sphere of energy formed around it.

The wind sword struck.
A thunderous boom filled the sky as the icy sphere was blasted downward.
BOOM!
It hit the earth like a meteor, carving a crater over ten meters wide. Cracks spidered outward, gouging into the forest.
