"Break up," Kiana said again, steady and clear.
"Break up—with your girlfriend."
Liend looked at her, confused, unable to fully process it.
"Mom…" he murmured, uncertain.
Kiana held his gaze.
"What do you choose?" she asked plainly.
"Take the punishment—choose Mom. Or…" her eyes shifted away.
"Choose your girlfriend. Your choice."
Liend hesitated, eyes flickering between guilt and confusion.
"Couldn't I… choose both?" he asked softly, unsure.
Kiana let out a small chuckle—dry.
"Liend."
She looked back at him, eyes sharp, unwavering.
"There is no both here."
She voiced, voice low but firm.
"Either you face the consequences—take Mom's punishment…" she paused.
"Or you walk away. Pretend this never happened. Go back to how things were."
Her eyes drifted, heavy with thought.
"But be sure of this—" she said, gaze returning to him. "Once you take this away…"
She gestured—first to him, then to her own bare body.
