So, heating coffee now was effortless for him.

Alicia smiled slightly at Clark, a happy expression on her face.
Looking at the girl's bright smile, Clark's heart also quickened for a moment.
Gathering his courage, he reached out cautiously, preparing to put his arm around the girl's shoulder.
"Oh, by the way, Clark, are you interested in going for a drive?"
Alicia asked him, biting the coffee cup, a smile playing on her lips.
Startled, Clark withdrew his hand, which was about to embrace her, "Of course, where do you want to go?"
"How about California?"
"California?!"
Clark laughed and said, "Alright, let's speed all the way to California."
Looking at the girl's innocent smile, Clark tentatively asked, "Are you serious, Alicia?"
"Mm-hmm."

"Crazy?"
