"Hey! Stop!"
Lex got out of the Ferrari and had only walked a few minutes down the farm path when he heard a familiar voice from behind him.
He sighed, composed himself, and turned to face Jonathan.
Jonathan held a shotgun, aimed at Lex.
"This is private property, Lex. You can't trespass here."
By the light of his flashlight, Jonathan recognized Lex Luthor, and his tense emotions finally eased a little.
Lowering his shotgun, Jonathan frowned and said to him, "Especially not at this time of night, which leads one to think of the worst."
"This timing is indeed a bit inappropriate."
Lex shrugged and said to Jonathan, "But I've recently become obsessed with stargazing."
He then showed him a folded telescope stand in his hand. "I'm a member of the American Dark Sky Association. The less light pollution there is, the more I like to go there. It's a very peculiar hobby, but it's not incomprehensible, is it?"
"Mr. Lex Luthor, I don't know any 'American Dark Sky Association members,' and this isn't some 'Dark Night Park.' This is private property. If you want to stargaze, you can go to your castle."
Jonathan directly rejected Lex's approach.
"As far as I know," Lex smiled slightly, "this area is not entirely owned by Kent Farm. Excluding arable land, land that has not yet been planted with crops is jointly owned by the Smallville town government and the farm."
"So what are you trying to say?"
"What I'm trying to say is that even when we mostly disagree, or when we both have prejudices against each other, we should talk according to the rules. This is a way of handling things that won't embarrass the other party."
Jonathan took a step closer to Lex. "You're right. Although most of the time I have strong opinions about you and your father, I'm willing to handle things according to the rules."
"And the rule is, you are not welcome here!"
"Whew!"
Lex exhaled and casually shook the telescope in his hand. "So that means we don't need to talk anymore?!"
"It seems so," Jonathan said seriously.
"Alright, Mr. Kent, it seems our negotiations are still in the trust-building phase."
Lex put down the telescope and prepared to leave.
Jonathan saw him turn around, relaxed his guard, and didn't keep staring at him.
The result was that in the next second, Lex darted into the bushes and quickly disappeared.
Seeing Lex escape, Jonathan was stunned for a moment, then immediately grabbed his gun and chased after him.
"That sour radish bitch!"
Jonathan, feeling deceived by Lex, couldn't help but curse.
At the same time, he became even more convinced that the Luthor Family were all liars who lied without batting an eye.
Jonathan quickly chased after Lex, pushing through the thorny bushes.
He didn't want Lex Luthor to discover his two sons' secret, so he pursued him relentlessly.
On the other side, Eric, after tying up Supergirl Kara using a special method, flew towards Clark's location.
What he saw was Clark struggling in a fierce battle, being ganged up on by Green Lantern and Wonder Woman.
Bang!
Hal used chains materialized by the Green Lantern Ring to knock Clark flying.
"Round two officially begins, Superman kid!"
Clark, after falling to the ground, gritted his teeth and quickly got up, blocking the chains that were crashing towards him.
With a series of "clang, clang, clang" sounds, the chains materialized by the Green Lantern Ring were shattered one after another.
But the length of the chains was endless; after one section was shattered, longer chains surged forward and struck Clark's body.
His chest was hit by a chain surrounded by green glow, and he was sent flying backward.
Green Lantern, having landed a hit, naturally wouldn't miss this opportunity and immediately used the Green Lantern Ring to control the chains, sending them crashing forward.
Amidst the sky full of chains, Clark's body was continuously struck in the air, spinning back and forth like a bowling pin being hit!
"Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!"
Clark groaned as he was flung by the chains, finally crashing heavily to the ground, creating a deep crater in the soft earth.
Clatter!
The chains made a harsh grinding sound, finally binding Clark.
"Ugh!"
Looking at Clark, who was tightly bound by the chains, his clothes torn and ragged, revealing a corner of his yellow underwear, Hal's face showed an expression of disgust. The chains binding Clark's body also loosened for a moment due to his mental fluctuation.
"Ugh ah!"
Clark gritted his teeth, mustered all his strength, and roared.
The chains binding him all snapped open, emitting a chilling shattering sound.
Whoosh!
"Watch out! Green Lantern!"
No sooner had Wonder Woman's words fallen than Clark, having broken free from the chains, instantly moved in front of Green Lantern.
Green Lantern, who hadn't yet recovered from the shock, took a heavy punch to the face from Clark.
With a bang, he was sent flying backward by Clark, whose yellow underwear was exposed.
At the moment his body stiffened from the blow, Hal caught sight of Clark's yellow underwear, exposed because his pants were damaged.
Could it be that his previous prophecy or curse had come true?
That he would be tormented by the color yellow?
"Hmph!"
Seeing Green Lantern sent flying backward by Clark, who had broken free from the chains, Wonder Woman no longer held back. She roared and charged at Clark with her twin magic swords.
But soon, a red laser descended from the sky.
Like a laser that cut through everything, it horizontally sliced across the ground.
Wonder Woman had to stop her forward attack and jump backward.
Bang!
The ground where her feet landed cracked, and Wonder Woman leaped upward. At the same time, she used her silver bracelets to retract her twin magic swords and threw her Lasso of Truth towards her opponent.
Eric immediately changed his flight posture, striking straight downward with his body.
After Eric easily dodged the Lasso of Truth thrown by Wonder Woman, she immediately crossed her arms above her head, attempting to use the protective power of her silver bracelets to block Eric's downward impact.
Buzz!
A shockwave was generated!
The surrounding air instantly erupted with a huge blast, sending a "boom" reverberating outwards.
Before Eric's fist struck Wonder Woman's silver bracelets, Hal arrived in time, materializing a barrier with the Green Lantern Ring to block Eric's attack.
Taking advantage of the moment Eric retracted his fist, Hal landed on the ground with Wonder Woman.
At the same time, he held the barrier in front to prevent Eric's sudden attack.
Seeing Green Lantern and Wonder Woman standing together, Eric did not continue his attack but landed near Clark.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine."
Clark wiped the dirt from his face and said indifferently.
This was his first time fighting someone at a similar level to him. He didn't have to worry about hurting the opponent, nor did he have to worry about accidentally causing a cervical spine injury and being blackmailed for a million.
Therefore, after an intense battle, his desire to fight had not diminished in the slightest; instead, he was even more eager to try again.
"Is that so?"
Eric looked at Clark with a strange gaze. "I mentioned earlier that yellow objects might weaken Green Lantern. So, Clark, you went all out and took off your pants to 'go yellow' on him?"
"No!"
Clark felt he was being severely misunderstood.
"I just happened to be wearing yellow underwear today, and it just happened that the other party accidentally tore my pants."
He explained earnestly.
However, seeing Eric's strange expression, he knew that the other party definitely didn't believe him.
He then looked at Wonder Woman and Green Lantern across from him.
Clark was silent for a few seconds.
He felt that in others' impressions, he might be associated with "perverted."
After teasing his cheap older brother for a few sentences, Eric turned his gaze to Wonder Woman and Green Lantern not far away.
"If I ask you your purpose for being here, you definitely won't tell me, will you?"
Eric asked the two in a faint voice.
"You just need to know that we mean no harm."
Green Lantern Hal removed the barrier created by the Green Lantern Ring, shrugged, and replied to Eric, "We also have no intention of opposing you. As for that girl—",
He then looked at Dana, who was lying not far away, protected by a green barrier.
"Her parents have already been killed by you, and she has already been punished. I think this matter is over."
Eric scoffed, "Is this your so-called 'superhero' value system?"
"No, actually, more than a superhero, I am a cosmic police officer. And I believe a person, like a clock, is valued by his actions, not by a few mere words. By the way, the lady standing next to me is more like a superhero than I am."
He then pointed to Wonder Woman next to him.
Eric and Clark turned their gaze to Wonder Woman.
But something embarrassing happened.
Perhaps the previous battle was too intense, causing the Zeus Olympian coin attached to Wonder Woman's chest to fall off.
The skin covered by the coin was exposed.
Eric, Clark, and Green Lantern's eyesight far exceeded that of ordinary people, and they all clearly saw the skin above her chest.
On a patch of fair skin was a handsome signature—Homelander!
Normally, it was covered by the coin, presumably to conceal this signature.
Green Lantern could be silly at times, but he wasn't stupid. Seeing the strange signature that Wonder Woman had covered with a coin, which was now fully exposed due to the coin falling, he immediately froze.
Could it be that the signature above Wonder Woman's chest indicated that she once had an extraordinary relationship with Homelander?
On the other side, Eric was completely stunned the moment he saw Wonder Woman's upper chest.
Did I do this?
