Chapter 1 - Prologue

#300 wandered away from the group, pushing deeper into the woods in search of food. The walkie-talkie had no signal, water was low. With the rifle held tight, #300 was ready for whatever danger might be waiting.

But there was no enemy—only #235, slumped against a tree, barely conscious.

"Finally… somebody…"

#235 lifted their head weakly, one hand pressed against dried blood on their side.

"Who injured you, #235?"

"Enemy troops… You need to get out of here… it's not safe—"

#235 tried to stand, using the tree for support, but pain forced them back to the ground.

"It's okay," #300 said. "We brought a Tier-1 Guardian! We're gonna wi—"

SPLAT.

#300 dropped mid-sentence, blood mist drifting in the air.

Above, the Guardian appeared, and from the sky it summoned a creature made of pure shadow, something that fed on souls.

"I'm sorry," I muttered, stepping forward as darkness thickened around us.

I raised my hand. The air split.

From the void, the Mythos emerged— the creature that devours souls, the one that lurks where sight cannot reach. Its jaws opened with an impossible hunger.

The Guardian's beast writhed and screeched, but Mythos dragged it into its maw, devouring it piece by piece.

"I wasn't done."

"I call upon the Dragon of Eon… the name forgotten by mankind… the one whose true name cannot be spoken…"

The ground shook.

A colossal silhouette materialized behind me as electricity crawled across the sky. The ancient dragon roared, shaking the forest to its core.

"Unleash your rage!"

The Dragon of Eons swooped into the enemy ranks, releasing waves of fire and crushing soldiers beneath its talons.

But we needed more.

"I conjure the final summoning… the one who holds the Earth in place—"

The sky rumbled. Clouds evaporated. Air pressure crushed the ground into a crater and suffocating every individual due to the immense pressure.

Atlas.

The giant emerged, towering above all things, the weight of the world reflected in his eyes

Woosh-

The Forgotten land of the depraves, known as Urygate, ceases to exist due to the immense air pressure from the wave of his hand.
