"Damn it, what kind of monster is this?!"
Seeing that bullets couldn't even break through Arlong's defense, their faces were grim.
"We can't keep this up. You guys hold him off, the rest of you follow me. Let's deal with the other Beasts Pirates first."
One of the leaders spoke, giving orders.
With that, he led a group of people, ready to leave, leaving only a few dozen scattered individuals to try and stall Karl.
Karl saw this and thought, 'Oh, really?'
This was practically looking down on him!
Just a few dozen people thought they could stop him???
"Hmph! Trying to leave? It's not that easy!"
Karl snorted. If he let them escape, he'd laugh at himself.
Karl had the advantage of being in the air; ordinary attacks couldn't hit him, and those that did wouldn't cause much damage.
The people left behind found it difficult to stop him, even if they wanted to.
"Hey! Arlong, your opponents are us!"
"Arlong, if you're so capable, don't run! Come and fight one-on-one!"
No matter how they shouted, cursed, or mocked, Karl completely ignored them.
He wanted to stop the others first, then settle the score properly. For now, he'd let them be arrogant for a while.
Karl's flying speed was faster than their running speed on the ground, and in a moment, he caught up with the group that had left.
"Leaving just like that? You're not giving me any face at all. All of you, stay!"
Karl's slightly immature voice carried an undeniable arrogance.
"Damn it! That Arlong is catching up again!"
"What are they good for?! They couldn't even hold him back for a little while!"
Karl stopped talking nonsense, and a cold aura surged in his mouth. Immediately after, a blast of icy Dragon Breath spewed forth, mixed with numerous tiny shards of ice.
It swept towards the ground with destructive force.
Snowflakes scattered as the Dragon Breath blew away all the thick snow on the ground, revealing its original appearance.
The pirates who were preparing to dodge suddenly realized that the incoming Dragon Breath didn't seem to be attacking them.
They felt relieved but also a little confused.
Did he miss???
Just then, the pirates who had been assigned to stop Karl also arrived, panting, and rejoined the main group.
"Sorry, we couldn't stop him."
The junior leader felt a bit guilty, thinking it was his fault that the mission failed.
"Now is not the time to talk about this, let's deal with what's in front of us first!"
The leader who stopped all this had a grim expression. After being at sea for so long, Captain Moriah had always been at the forefront of battles, big and small, and they could only pick off small pirates from behind.
This time, Captain Moriah was held back by Kaido, so they had to deal with the rest of the Beasts Pirates themselves!
But now, they were blocked by a Dragon, which made them quite uncomfortable.
"Let's work together to deal with this Dragon first!"
Just as his words fell, Karl also completed his masterpiece.
The area that had just been covered by Karl's Dragon Breath had become a gully, filled with a thick layer of ice. The gully's range was just enough to encompass all the pirates.
The next moment, the pirates felt the ground shake as if there was an earthquake, as if something was about to rise from the ground.
An ice wall rose from the gully, reaching nearly ten meters before stopping, trapping all the pirates inside.
All the pirates' faces showed shock, and some already had a bad premonition.
The pirates who reacted quickly raised their weapons, wanting to hack their way through, but no matter how they attacked with their swords, guns, and cannons, the ice wall only shed some ice chips, leaving faint white marks.
The hardness, thickness, and height of the ice wall were despair-inducing. This was something they, a group of small pirates, couldn't break. Only a powerful person like Captain Moriah could probably break it easily!
Karl looked at his masterpiece with satisfaction. With the environmental buff from Ling, his control over ice and snow became even easier and more natural.
"Ahahaha, you little small fries! Accept my judgment!"
Karl laughed loudly, and his entire dragon body descended onto the ice wall.
Under the giant shadow, the pirates found Karl even more terrifying, and the sense of oppression was overwhelming.
Karl leaped down, already transforming back into human form in mid-air. Crushing them with just his dragon form's stats was too boring; he wanted a battle between real men!
"What?!"
The pirates who witnessed this were all shocked and horrified, not expecting that the Dragon just now was actually such a young-faced child.
Although Karl's height was slightly taller than theirs, his face was relatively young, making him look like a giant child overall.
Karl's slightly immature face displayed an arrogant and domineering expression.
His long blade was unsheathed from his waist, pointing directly at all the pirates opposite him, exuding the aura of 'one man holding the pass against ten thousand men.'
"You are all surrounded by me!"
As soon as Karl finished speaking, he charged out like an arrow from a bowstring, heading straight for the pirates.
"Hmph! Arrogant!"
"We couldn't do anything to you in the sky, but now that you're down here, it's not up to you anymore!"
With that, the Moria Pirates members also charged towards Karl, following their leader.
Karl cut down one pirate with a single strike, then deftly dodged an attack from behind, and immediately turned around to cut down that pirate to the ground with another strike.
Karl was like a tiger entering a flock of sheep; basically, no one was his match in a single blow. If one strike wasn't enough, he'd use another.
Before long, many people were lying on the ground around Karl.
Karl was like a War God, and within a few meters radius, there was no one left standing.
"Damn it, everyone attack together!"
Someone shouted, and instantly, more than a dozen people surrounded Karl again.
"Kill him!"
Karl sneered, and a cold aura surged in his mouth.
"Dragon Breath!"
A bone-chilling Dragon Breath shot out instantly. Those touched by the Dragon Breath looked terrified and immediately turned into large ice blocks.
Someone tried to ambush Karl from behind when he was exposed, but as soon as he got close, Karl turned around and kicked him flying, creating a gully in the snow.
Then Karl charged into the crowd again, starting his new round of crushing.
Karl moved freely across the battlefield, like passing through a garden of flowers without a single petal sticking to him.
Having just dealt with two ambushers, Karl suddenly felt a slight sting on his back.
He turned his head and saw a pirate aiming a gun at him, with an expression of wild joy on his face.
"I hit him! He's bleeding!"
Being able to break his defense meant he could be defeated!
But before he could celebrate for long, a chill rushed to his head, instantly scattering his emotions.
A hand instantly gripped his fateful neck, and a sense of suffocation filled his entire body. He struggled with both hands, trying to pry open that large hand.
But those fingers were like pliers, gripping his neck tightly, and no matter how hard he tried, it was useless.
He saw a pair of cold, icy eyes staring fixedly at him, and the next moment, a whisper like that of the God of Death entered his ears.
"Do you also wish to dance?!"
