Upon hearing the woman's words, Sylvia's eyes practically sparkled with excitement. But, true to her dramatic nature, she maintained her sickly-sweet act. With a pale smile, she took the boxes from the secretary's hands.
"Thank you... Please tell Mateo that I adore them..."
The secretary nodded politely.
"Young master Chang hopes Miss Tang will wear them for the party tomorrow. He also said to take care of your health, Miss Tang."
After a few more exchanges of pleasantries, the secretary took her leave. Sylvia was already envisioning the flood of gifts that would follow once the secretary informed Mateo of her "illness."
