"So you've come to watch as I kill your beloved," I laughed as Charlene appeared suddenly.
I hadn't expected her to leave the car, and I was beyond shocked when I saw her standing there, shock evident in her eyes. The plan was to get rid of Draven and pin it on the rogues.
"What the hell are you doing, Keilan?" she yelled at me. "What are you—"
"As you can see, I'm going to kill him!" My laughter echoed in the cold forest as I watched Draven crumple to the ground, my boot striking his stomach.
The sound blended triumph with adrenaline, emotions rising through me like wildfire. Finally, I had him, and it hadn't been an easy feat. Leading him to the rogues' hideout was the only way to reach him. It was so hard to get him to fall into my traps, and now that I had succeeded, I was beyond happy that everything was working out for me.
