Olaedo shook her head with a small smile. "No, I'll try. It's fine. Just… don't let the little ones see me freak out."
Adanna and Ifeoma rushed ahead, laughter bubbling, unaware of the shadow of hesitation crossing Olaedo's face.
But seeing the unbridled excitement in Adanna and Ifeoma's eyes, Olaedo pushed her reservations aside. "Let's go, come on," she said with a faint smile.
Within minutes, the pirate ship swung higher and higher, leaving their stomachs twisting with every drop. By the time they stumbled off the ride, Adanna and Ifeoma clung to each other for support, cheeks flushed from adrenaline.
"I am never doing that again," Ifeoma declared dramatically, her face pale as she tried to steady herself.
