The Luna trials had reached their conclusion. Celina didn't just emerge victorious, she had captured the devotion of every pack member. The thought that my human mate could accomplish such feats under these circumstances filled me with overwhelming pride. My chest burned with the need to claim her completely. The time had come.
"Yes," she breathed through her tears, the word barely audible.
"Yes, yes, yes!"
Pure euphoria crashed through me like a tidal wave. I surged to my feet and wrapped my arms around her trembling form. "You have given me everything, love." Her small fingers gripped my shirt desperately as she buried her face against my chest, weeping silently. In that moment, I offered my gratitude to the moon goddess. Finally, we could be together without barriers.
