Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

"Kei, we need to take her to the hospital right now; she might bleed to death," I shouted loudly. He came to his senses and rushed over to me, carrying the injured woman. As we hurried to the car, I could see the color draining from her face, and I felt a surge of panic. "Hold on tight," I urged her, hoping my words would provide some comfort as we sped off to get her the help she desperately needed.

When we arrived at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Keith, and I almost ran inside while she was carrying the wounded woman when a doctor passed by. I quickly went to him. Doctor, please, please. I will give you everything you need. Just treat her. She has a bullet wound on her other shoulder, and she has lost a lot of blood. I was crying while I was talking to the doctor. The doctor, taken aback by my urgency, nodded and gestured for us to follow him. As we rushed through the chaotic ER, I felt a mix of fear and hope, praying that they would be able to save her.

As I sat on the chair outside the ER where the injured woman was admitted earlier, I couldn't help but feel uneasy. The sounds of sirens and the hurried footsteps of medical staff only amplified my anxiety. I glanced at the clock, hoping for news that would ease my growing concern.

It was three in the morning when the doctor came out. I stood up while my voice was shaking. Doc, is she okay? How is her wound? How is her baby? She is pregnant, Doc. Did both she and her baby survive? The doctor took a deep breath, his expression serious yet calm. "She made it through the surgery, but we need to monitor her closely; the baby is stable for now, but it's still too early to tell what will happen next."

My fears were reduced because of what the doctor said. I will give everything she needs here at the hospital, so call me if she wakes up. Please do not allow anyone to visit her except me. I want to ensure she has the best care possible and feels my support during this difficult time. It's crucial that we create a calm environment for her recovery.

The doctor nodded. You can count on me to call you when she wakes up. He smiled reassuringly, adding that he would keep a close eye on her condition. "In the meantime, try to take care of yourself," he advised.

I nodded to the doctor and thanked him. When I left the hospital, Kei was on the side of the road with a cigarette in his hand; he threw it away when he saw me. He rushed over, concern etched on his face. "How did it go?" he asked, his voice a mixture of worry and relief as he took my arm and guided me away from the bustling entrance.

"She made it through the surgery, but they need to monitor her closely; the baby is stable for now, but it's still too early to tell what will happen next."

Where is the car? The car is parked just outside the hospital entrance. I'll go grab it so we can head home.

Kei's car was driving fast while I was just sitting quietly, leaning out the window. The rush of the wind against my face filled me with exhilaration, and I couldn't help but smile at the scenery whizzing by. It was a moment of freedom, a fleeting escape from the mundane.

When we arrived to meet our companions, they were waiting for us in the helicopter. Thank you very much for lending us your car, Jin. I went inside so we could go back to the island we came from earlier. I hope the instructor doesn't scold us. As the helicopter took off, I glanced out the window, watching the landscape shrink below us.

I wore the dark, green flight suit top gun, that Kei gave me earlier. It felt comfortable and gave me a sense of confidence! "The sound of wooden swords can be heard throughout the room. The clashing echoes create an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. As the combatants move with agility, their playful sparring

There's a new subject each time we have martial arts class, and today it's wooden sword fighting. What's this for? This practice not only helps improve our coordination and technique but also fosters discipline and respect for our opponents. Learning to wield a wooden sword effectively can enhance our overall martial arts skills and prepare us for more advanced forms of combat.

I've only been here a week. and I've already gotten a good look at the inside of the infirmary ten times. Four of those times, I helped my sprawled-out sparring partner there. after he took a particularly hard fall. It's been a steep learning curve, but I've also learned a lot about resilience and the importance of teamwork in this environment.

"Nathaniel Vladimir," he shouted at me, "you fucking asshole, don't you know how to fight properly? "I narrowed my eyes, feeling the heat of anger rising within me. "Maybe if you taught me instead of just yelling, we wouldn't be in this mess." I shot back, my fists clenching at my sides.

You're a cheap brute. He said, "Don't you know the rules for sparring?" I grinned at him annoyingly. "Rules are meant to be bent," I replied, stepping closer. The tension in the air crackled as he narrowed his eyes, clearly not amused by my defiance.

He rushed at me, and I bumped into another member who I am training with right now. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to," I said when I bumped into him because Zeus pushed me. I quickly turned to assess the situation, hoping neither of us had been hurt. Just then, Zeus barked playfully, oblivious to the chaos he had caused, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the unexpected turn of events.

"You watch where you're going,"Don't mess around. he said coldly. His eyes narrowed as he took a step closer, the tension thickening in the air. "I won't warn you again," he added, his voice low and menacing.

Huh? What was that all about? He's on instructor Golding's team; he's always been like that. We compete more than we cooperate. So there's no reason for us to be on good terms. Han Joon said as he watched the instructor leave. What a jerk. Why is he so aggressive? It's like he thrives on confrontation, pushing everyone to their limits instead of fostering teamwork. Han Joon shook his head, wondering if there was more to Golding's attitude than met the eye.

I looked down to avoid his gaze. Who is this sister of yours who is in the hospital and awake? When did you have a sister? He suddenly asked, his voice laced with confusion and curiosity. I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to explain the complicated truth.

I ignored what he said; instead, I asked him, "What did the doctor say?" He hesitated for a moment, his eyes drifting to the floor as if searching for the right words. Finally, he looked up and replied, "The news wasn't what you had hoped for."

What do you mean, last week, Dad? I came from there. What do you mean? Explain it properly. Did she wake up, or maybe she's already gone? What did the doctor say? I shouted in frustration as my heart raced with worry. My father looked at me with a mix of concern and sadness, struggling to find the right words to ease my anxious mind.

The doctor stated that she awoke but was confused and unable to communicate properly because she was losing her mind. The doctor asked when you planned to visit the hospital so you could see her for yourself. It was important to assess her condition firsthand, and I knew I had to make the trip soon. I felt a mix of urgency and anxiety, hoping that my presence would somehow help her feel more grounded.

I have to go to the hospital right now, Han Joon. Where is Kei? He might be outside sometimes because he hangs out when he wants to smoke. I nodded to him and went straight to my room to get dressed because I was sweating profusely from training.

I am wearing a short-sleeve black shirt. Tailored black pants. And black dress shoes Dark sunglasses A blazer draped on me. I tucked the pistol into the side of my pants and grabbed a coat that was lying on the living room couch. Keith was surprised by my presence when he saw me walking quickly towards him. He hadn't finished his cigarette yet; he threw it away when he saw me. I could see the tension in his posture as he straightened up, eyes narrowing with concern. "What's going on?" he asked, his voice low and cautious, sensing the urgency in my demeanor.

We need to go to the hospital right now. The woman we took to the hospital woke up, but the doctor said he couldn't talk to her. We have to find out what happened and if she remembers anything crucial. Every second counts, and we can't afford to miss any details that could help us understand the situation better.

Her life is in danger; we can't just leave that person alone. We need to take immediate action to ensure her safety and find a way to protect her from any potential threats. Time is of the essence, and the sooner we act, the better chances we have to keep her safe.

He suddenly realized what I said and came with me, starting the helicopter without hesitation. As the blades began to whirl, a sense of urgency filled the air. We lifted off the ground, the landscape below shrinking rapidly as we soared into the sky, leaving my worries behind.

As soon as we arrived at the hospital, I ran to the hospital reception desk. Excuse me, what room is Ms. Vladimir in? The nurse said it was on the second floor, number 201, block B. Without wasting any time, I rushed to the elevator, my heart racing with each passing second. As the doors opened on the second floor, I quickly scanned the signs, hoping to find room 201 without delay.

We heard a loud bang, What was that? Even Kei was shocked by the loud bang. and the nurse came out of the room as if she were very scared. What was happening? She was stunned and dropped the medicines and injections she was holding. What was happening? I asked again. Oh, Sir, we can't calm down the woman who is the patient here. She is holding a blade, and we can't get close to her because she puts it on her wrist when someone tries to approach her. Panic surged through me as I realized the gravity of the situation. I needed to think quickly; we had to find a way to safely de-escalate the situation before anyone got hurt.

I went inside and saw the nurses retreating. No, Arjie, don't go near her; if she gets injured, we might all get fired. I hesitated, torn between my concern for her safety and the fear of the consequences. The tension in the room was palpable.

But Kathy, she might be even more devastated if we just leave her like that. We need to find a way to support her without overwhelming her. It's important that she knows we're here for her during this tough time.

You can all leave now; we appreciate your concern about her. I'll take care of her now. The four nurses who had been making a scene before stared at me, likely shocked by my quick entrance. They exchanged glances before gently exiting the room, their expressions a mixture of relief and curiosity. As the door closed behind us, I took a deep breath, ready to focus on providing the comfort she needed.

Her face was pale, and her eyes were puffy when she looked at me. I could see the weight of her worries etched into every feature, as if she had been carrying a burden far too heavy for her alone. It was clear that something had shaken her to her core, and I felt an instinctive urge to reach out and offer my support.

I sat on the edge of the stretcher. I took the blade in her hand, and she let me do it. She looked at me again, and her unshed tears flowed again. I feel sorry for her. Those killer Thief's killed my family, my parents, and my brother. She suddenly said and sobbed. I hugged her and let her cry on my shoulder. As her sobs echoed in the quiet room, I felt a weight in my chest, a shared sorrow in that moment. I whispered reassuring words. hoping to provide some comfort amidst the pain we both carried.

"What happened?" I asked her calmly when she had calmed down a bit from crying. She took a deep breath and began to explain, her voice trembling slightly as she recounted the events that had led to her distress. Each word seemed heavy with emotion, and I could see the pain reflected in her eyes as she spoke.

I Just came back from vacation, and I wanted to surprise my brother on her birthday, but what I didn't expect was that I would be the one to be surprised because I was greeted by their cold corpses in the living room. I was so scared. I managed to escape from the hands of those animals, but they still caught me. If you didn't see me yesterday, I might be a cold corpse too. Adrenaline surged through me as I stumbled over the threshold, my heart racing with the horror of what I had witnessed. Now, hiding in the shadows of my home, I could only hope to find a way to escape this nightmare before it consumed me completely.

Don't worry, I will protect you no matter what happens; even if I go to hell, they won't hurt you again. I'll face any challenge head-on to keep you safe. Together, we can overcome anything that comes our way.

Her tears flowed again. Why are you helping me? What if you get hurt for saving me? "I've made my choice," I replied softly, my eyes steady with determination. "Some things are worth the risk, and your safety is one of them."

By the way, I am Calista Irish Nieves. I owe my life to you and my child; I will always be grateful. I still need to find out who did this to my family. The search for answers has become my driving force, and I won't rest until I uncover the truth. Every piece of information could lead me closer to justice for what happened to us.

A few more minutes passed before I felt her fall asleep. Even though she was asleep, her grip on one of my hands was still so tight. The door opened, and Kei came in carrying paper bags. What was that? "Food," he said tiredly. "Maybe she hasn't eaten yet, so I thought I'd go out to buy her some food." He set the bags down on the table, the aroma of warm rice and savory dishes filling the room. "I figured we could all use a little comfort," he added with a faint smile. glancing over at her peaceful sleep form.

Her situation right now is so pitiful. This complicated incident in her life is a terrible nightmare for her because for the rest of her life she will wonder why she did nothing during those times when she saw firsthand how her entire family was killed. The weight of that guilt will be a heavy burden to carry, shaping her thoughts and actions in ways she may never fully understand. As she navigates her future, the echoes of that trauma will likely influence her and sense of self.

We need to get back to HQ immediately or we'll get a penalty. Kei said hesitantly as he glanced nervously at the ticking clock on the wall. The urgency of the situation weighed heavily on him, and he knew that every second counted if they wanted to avoid the consequences.

Penalties for breaking laws can vary significantly depending on the jurisdiction and the nature of the offense. In some cases, violations may result in fines or community service, while more severe infractions can lead to imprisonment or substantial financial penalties. Additionally, repeat offenders often face harsher consequences, including longer sentences or increased fines. It's essential to understand the specific laws in your area to comprehend the potential penalties for any violations. In some regions, laws are strictly enforced, which can lead to severe repercussions for even minor offenses. Consulting legal experts or resources can provide clarity on the potential outcomes of breaking the law.

I was speechless because of what he said. No, I mean, is the penalty for your organization serious when you violate their laws? The consequences can be quite severe, often involving hefty fines or even legal action. It's crucial to understand the implications of such violations to avoid any potential fallout. He chuckled. So if you don't want us to wander around the forest all night, let's hurry up and go back to HQ. We still have some important tasks to finish before the deadline. Plus, I'd rather not deal with any unexpected wildlife encounters after dark.

I couldn't catch up with the doctor I spoke to here because he had an emergency meeting before we arrived. I was hoping to discuss my concerns with him, but now I'll have to wait for another opportunity. In the meantime, I'll gather my questions so I'm prepared for our next conversation.

As Kei and I were returning to HQ, a lot of things were bothering me. The weight of unanswered questions hung in the air, making it hard to focus on. I glanced at Kei, hoping to find some clarity in his expression. but he seemed lost in his own thoughts as well.

What do you think are the possible things that will happen when the other members arrive? Aren't you worried that the others who come will be war freaks? Keith just raised an eyebrow at me because of my question. He seemed to consider my words for a moment before responding, "I think we'll have a mix of personalities. Some might be intense, but others could surprise us with their calmness."
