"There are countless reporters already waiting outside the hospital, desperate for a statement from Gabe the moment he gets discharged, even though the evidence of what had happened is already everywhere. They never change," Fred muttered with a heavy sigh as he lifted his glass and drained the alcohol in one gulp. "No matter how clear the truth is, they still want a reaction. A scandal."
The booming sound of music rolled through the air, thick bass vibrating through the floor as bodies moved wildly under flashing neon lights. Shouts, laughter, and drunken screams blended together, filling the nightclub with chaotic energy. It was late...well past midnight....the perfect hour for reckless celebration and poor decisions.
"Reporters will always be the same. I'm not surprised at all," Damien replied, seated across from Fred. He leaned back against the couch, fingers loosely wrapped around his drink as he exhaled slowly. "What worries me isn't them. It's Gabe."
