Chapter 65 - 65. Turn on

"Yep," Daisy said, glancing at the board. "Looks like simple snakes and ladders."

Rain's lips curved into a slow smirk. "As you wish."

They started.

Daisy rolled first.

One move in—and she landed straight on a snake.

"Seriously?" she groaned, staring at the board. "come one, lets consider this first try?"

Rain leaned back, clearly enjoying this. "Rules are rules."

She crossed her arms. "So… what's the dare?"

He reached for a small deck of cards on the table and slid it toward her. "Pick one."

Her eyes flicked from the cards to his face. That same unreadable expression sat there—half calm, half dangerous.

She swallowed, then picked a card.

Tease and Deny: "opposite player will choose a part to tease and kiss for 30 secs but don't let loser touch you in return."

Daisy stared at the card, then at him. "What—seriously? You knew this was in the game and didn't warn me?"

Rain only chuckled. "It's written right there on the box." He tapped the corner of the board. TURN ON.

"That's literally the name of the game."

The dice sat between them.

So did the tension.

And the game had only just begun.

"What now?" Daisy asked, arms crossed, trying very hard to look unaffected.

Rain tilted his head, clearly enjoying this far too much.

She narrowed her eyes at him. "You're enjoying this."

"Immensely."

"I choose to tease your breasts," he said, his voice low and hungry.

He leaned closer, close enough that she could feel his breath. "Timer on?"

She set it, heart thumping despite herself. "Thirty seconds. Don't get any other ideas."

Rain laughed softly. "You're the one who picked the card, kitten."

He slid his hand under the t-shirt she wore. That was the worst part—he didn't rush. Instead, he teased her patience more than anything else. She surrendered to his desires as he kissed and nibbled one breast over her bra while squeezing and teasing the other. Daisy moaned, fully immersed in the sensations, her body craving more.

The timer beeped.

Rain immediately leaned back, hands raised in mock surrender. "Time."

Daisy stayed frozen for a second, breath uneven, half-expecting him to lean in again and waiting for his mouth to reclaim her breast through the fabric.

Annoyed—and far too amused for her own good—she grabbed a cushion and threw it at him. "This game is evil."

Rain caught it easily, his grin widening. "Told you. No going back once you start."

She reached for the dice again.

"…Your turn," she said, pretending she wasn't enjoying this far more than she should.

And somehow, that made the game even more dangerous—and a lot more fun.
