Leaving aside how Li Chengzhi, abandoned by Wang Hu's apparent "forsaking loyalty for beauty," cursed while dealing with the pursuers left behind.
Holding the petite figure in his arms, Wang Hu sprinted at full speed until he reached a secluded spot.
"Alright." After setting the person down and glancing back to confirm they were safely out of reach, Wang Hu asked with deliberate amusement, staring at the figure in a brown jacket and pants clutching a hat:
"What's your name? Who's chasing you? And who gave you the guts to jump from the second floor?"
"Hmph." The runaway princess snorted coldly, showing little gratitude.
Perhaps she resented Wang Hu's earlier claims that ZAFT would attack this Colony Satellite. Or maybe it was the groping hand when he caught her earlier. Even though this man had helped her shake off the bodyguards and avoid being dragged back to Orb's capital, she wasn't about to thank him.
"Hey! Why are you so sure ZAFT will attack here?" Stomping her foot and clenching her small fists, the princess looked like a hissing kitten, baring her teeth as she interrogated Wang Hu. "This is Orb's neutral Colony Satellite! ZAFT has no reason to attack! And the reputation of the Orb Lion is well-known even in Plant! How dare they!"
"Hmm?" Wang Hu wasn't the least bit intimidated by her aggressive stance—if anything, he seemed a little excited. It reminded him of those short videos he'd seen in his past life—like "excitement fist for thugs"?
Shaking his head to clear the wandering thought, Wang Hu showed no mercy. In one swift motion, he twisted her arm and forced her to the ground.
"Ah!" The princess yelped in pain, face pressed against the floor. Before she could even curse, Wang Hu's knee pressed against her slender neck, cutting off her breath with the suffocating weight of death. At the same time, something cold and hard pressed against the back of her head.
"A gun?" Gasping for air, she shuddered at the danger against her skull. Though not exactly spoiled, she had lived a sheltered, comfortable life. Now, she wanted to cry but refused to humiliate herself. Clenching her teeth, she held back—she would never yield.
Amused by her defiant martyr act, Wang Hu decided to indulge her. His knee pressed down slowly, methodically squeezing the air from her lungs. As the last remnants of oxygen left her chest, her mouth gaped uselessly for air. Drool dripped from her lips as dizziness set in, her pupils dilating. On the verge of losing control of her bladder, her body convulsed with ragged, dying gasps.
"Talk. Who are you? A Plant agent? A ZAFT spy? Or Orb Security?" He eased the pressure just enough to let a trickle of oxygen back into her lungs, watching as her brain scrambled from the sudden rush of air.
When lost in a euphoric illusion, Wang Hu's magnetic and alluring voice whispered by Princess Cagalli's ear.
"My name is Cagalli. I sneaked here to see if my father was lying to me!"
Dazed, her pupils still dilated, the princess blurted out her name.
Perhaps too disoriented, Wang Hu felt a sudden warmth against his other leg resting on the ground...
"Ugh!"
Wang Hu's expression froze.
Pinned beneath him, Cagalli flushed red as realization dawned.
After all, she was still a princess—dignity mattered.
Did she just... wet herself?
The shock, more jolting than a thunderclap, instantly snapped her back to clarity.
"You!"
Without another thought, she twisted her head to glare at Wang Hu, who had loosened his grip.
"What did you do to me?!"
"I'll take responsibility."
Wang Hu pressed the barrel of his gun against Cagalli's forehead.
"Cagalli? A girl's name?"
"You—!" Her eyes locked onto the dark muzzle pressed to her head.
Cagalli nearly burst into tears of rage. Who in the world says "I'll take responsibility" while pointing a gun at someone?
Was his idea of responsibility blowing her brains out and arranging her cremation?!
"Speak. Who are you?"
Wang Hu subtly shook his pant leg and shifted his stance, avoiding the damp spot.
But his tiny, careful movements didn't escape the sharp awareness of the humiliated girl.
"You bastard! I'll kill you!"
Overwhelmed by shame and fury, the last thread of reason in her mind snapped.
True to her impulsive nature, Cagalli lunged at him, ready to fight to the death.
"..."
Wang Hu stared wordlessly at the flailing wildcat. He'd expected irrationality—but not this level of recklessness.
With no other choice, he holstered his gun and effortlessly subdued her again.
But subduing Cagalli was never smooth.
From birth, this girl had "trouble" written all over her.
Given her status, her gender, and especially... what had just happened—a girl wetting herself in front of a man—
Was there anything more mortifying?
Out of some nonexistent shred of conscience...
Her face was wet. Her clothes were soaked.
And there was that faint, unmistakable scent.
"You! I—!"
Cagalli reached her breaking point. During the struggle, she'd rolled through that puddle multiple times.
Her pants were already ruined—now her entire body was drenched!
Even if she usually acted like one of the guys, this was too much!
Her nose stung. Her defenses crumbled.
The girl who hadn't shed a tear before the Lion of Orb now had mist clouding her eyes.
Her voice cracked—undeniably on the verge of crying.
Cagalli dropped into a crouch, burying her face in her arms.
"Not even my father has treated me like this!"
"If your father did this, that'd be a problem."
Wang Hu muttered under his breath before stripping off his coat and tossing it over her head.
"Get up. We're buying you clothes."
"Go to hell!"
"I don't want your clothes!" Cagalli, crouching on the ground, swatted away the jacket Wang Hu had kindly tossed her way.
She then raised her head, biting her lower lip as she glared at him with fiery eyes. If her gaze could transform into blades—
Wang Hu would surely be riddled with a thousand holes by now, each one a sword she had personally driven into him.
"I don't care either way, but if you keep staying like this..."
Wang Hu crossed his arms, speaking indifferently.
"Not many people come here, but there's always a few nosy ones who might wander by."
"One person seeing you is one thing, but if a whole crowd gets a look? Who knows, maybe some troublemakers might even..."
"Tsk tsk tsk. If someone snaps a photo or records a video—wow, you'd definitely make headlines that day!"
"You bastard! Scum! Trash! A fly in the garbage heap!"
Cagalli, whose upbringing was generally quite proper, could only muster insults of this caliber.
If it were some vulgar shrew from the streets, perhaps Wang Hu's expression might have flickered—but Cagalli's words lacked any real bite...
Well, at least Wang Hu was a decent man. He wouldn't get too excited over a girl in front of him.
