Their slick-scaled serpent tails gently stirred the water, while their humanoid upper arms occasionally pushed aside floating debris. Their flat, monkey-like faces dipped into the water intermittently.

Three Black Serpent Monsters on the left flank opened their jaws wide, spewing thick, ink-black smoke. Wherever it passed, even raindrops corroded into acrid white fumes.
At that moment, Snowflake nimbly sidestepped, its Crystal Stream Breath shooting forth faster than the poison.
A continuous Tri-Color Beam pierced through the black smoke, churning left and right, vaporizing the venom into pungent white mist before piercing through the eye socket of one Black Serpent Monster.

When the last Black Serpent Monster—attempting a sneak attack from underwater—had its spine crushed by Han Ning's Tiger Claws, silence finally fell.

The originally nearly four-meter-long body rapidly stretched, its shoulder height rising as muscles bulged and bones cracked with audible snaps.
The pale gray Scales quivered faintly in the light, their edges beginning to reveal intricate yellow-brown patterns.
These earthy yellow patterns weren't static, but flowed slowly across the surface of the Scales like living creatures.
On the powerful forelimbs and hindlimbs originally covered in smooth Scales, the areas around joints and claws developed thicker, more rock-like textured Scales.
Along the spine on its back, several rows of small, spike-like bony protrusions pierced through the scaly armor, emitting faint yellow-brown glows.
