Chapter 92 - Chapter 92

Home of Love – Late Afternoon,

Satoru Gojo gently held the little kitten in his arms, teasing it playfully. His fingers tickled and stroked its head and body.

The kitten didn't seem the least bit bothered.

On the contrary, its eyes squinted in contentment, and it let out a small, delighted "purr."

"Oh, that feels good. Come on, let's try a quick flip… a somersault!" Gojo said with a mischievous grin.

He carefully grabbed the kitten's tiny front legs and guided it through the motion, demonstrating a playful comparison.

Watching from the side, Yukino Yukinoshita could hardly contain her surprise.

She quickly opened her mouth to warn him.

"Sensei, isn't that… a little dangerous for the kitten? How could it possibly do a backflip?"

But as soon as the words left her lips…

The kitten actually executed a perfect backflip.

"Meow, meow~!"

The tiny creature let out a triumphant mew, as if demanding acknowledgment for its skill.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

"Incredible!" Gojo clapped his hands and laughed in genuine amazement.

Yukino remained silent, stunned.

She had loved cats for years, but this was the first time she had ever seen one perform a backflip.

Grinning, Gojo seemed inspired.

He lifted his right hand, removed his blindfold, and gently placed it over the kitten's eyes, covering them.

The kitten didn't resist. Its tiny paws reached out curiously, but it stayed still.

"In the future… you shall be known as Gojo Kai – Cat Version," Gojo said, smiling.

"Meow~," the kitten responded, as if in agreement, tilting its head slightly.

Gojo laughed heartily at the sight.

"Hey, Yukino-san, aren't you going to tease it? You don't even seem a bit jealous," he said, turning the kitten toward her for effect.

Yukino, who had been observing quietly, felt herself momentarily caught off guard.

Their eyes met for a brief second before she quickly looked away, composed as ever.

"Unexpectedly… Sensei, you are… quite handsome," she said softly, her usual calm tone betraying a hint of blush.

"Huh? Really?" Gojo's face brightened with mock pride. He leaned closer to her, smirking mischievously.

"Didn't think you would be amazed by my radiant beauty now, Yukino-san?" he teased.

Yukino's expression remained calm, though she replied flatly,

"I was… amazed by how wasted your face is because of your personality. Besides, didn't you already make a scene with the kitten earlier?"

"Wasted?!" Gojo pouted, feigning offense.

Then, He continued playing with the kitten, who seemed to enjoy the attention immensely, rolling in his arms and batting at his fingers.

Yukino couldn't help but smile lightly, a rare crack in her composed demeanor.

She was genuinely impressed—not by Gojo's antics per se, but by the harmonious scene of Gojo and the kitten interacting.

For anyone who adored cats, such a sight was impossible to resist.

"Huh? Are you saying… you're a fan of cats, or of men playing?" Gojo asked innocently, tilting his head.

Yukino's face immediately went pale, her ears tinged red.

"N-No… it's not like that!" she stammered.

"Oh… a fan of the kitten, then," Gojo teased further, lifting the kitten's legs in mock investigation.

When—

Wham!

A sharp smack landed on his head.

"Ouch!" Gojo yelped, rubbing his head, his eyes teary as he looked at Yukino who was now holding the kitten with an innocent expression.

"Why did you hit me, Yukino-san?" he asked, pouting.

"Sensei, are you serious? You don't know the difference between men and women, even a kitten can tell," Yukino said icily, her usual frosty aura returning.

"Got it…" Gojo muttered, clearly plotting some form of playful revenge.

This little cat fan actually dares to lecture me… I'll have to torture her next time, maybe play with a cat infront of her without letting her touch it, hehe~

As dusk approached,

Gojo and Yukino prepared to leave the Home of Love.

"Sure enough… it just likes you more," Yukino said with a sour tone, recalling how the kitten had clung to Gojo the entire time.

Even when she had tried to pick it up, it would wriggle back into his arms.

"Maybe it's because I'm more handsome?" Gojo asked seriously, adjusting his blindfold.

Yukino didn't respond, keeping her calm composure, though the hint of a faint smile tugged at her lips.

"So… shall I go first?" Gojo asked, slipping his hands into his pockets.

"Huh? I thought sensei was going to be like the hero in those comics—you know, walking the girl home before leaving," Yukino remarked, her tone flat yet slightly teasing.

"I don't want to… shouldn't it be the girl's responsibility to go home?" Gojo replied, rolling his eyes.

Yukino shrugged gracefully, walking ahead and giving a casual wave.

"Then… goodbye, sensei," she said, her voice steady but carrying her usual elegance.

"Goodbye," Gojo replied, bowing slightly before turning to leave.

However, he didn't teleport home immediately. Instead, he walked slowly along another path—toward the home of one of his students.

That student was none other than Chitanda Eru.
