Eryx nodded, "With Athena."
Both Theo and Rhydric snapped their heads toward him at the same time.
"Athena?" Theo echoed, just to be sure he'd heard right.
"Yeah," Eryx said again, unbothered.
Rhydric said nothing at first. He only stared at Eryx, like the guy had started to grow horns.
"You sneaked up on someone's Luna?" Rhydric finally asked, his voice low.
Eryx shrugged. "Yeah. And someone's Luna didn't seem to have a problem with it."
Theo scoffed sharply, sitting properly on the couch. "Are you insane? Do you have any idea that Azrael would murder you if he finds out you went near his mate."
"I don't care, Theo," Eryx snapped back. "He already hates me, and I hate him too. So why would I give a damn?" His smile turned sharper. "Especially when Athena isn't pushing me away."
Rhydric's jaw tightened. "She's mated," he said flatly. "Do you think any of this is a joke?"
