The Mermaid King's scorched body was slowly recovering. He coldly watched the octopus without saying a word.
The octopus despised that look the most — that condescending gaze that looked down on all beings.
With his tentacle, he viciously pinned the Mermaid King's tail to the seabed. A thick cloud of blood exploded instantly, enveloping the blue fishtail.
The Mermaid King could no longer endure it and let out a sharp howl.
His face turned pale instantly, even the color of his beautiful sapphire eyes faded quite a bit.
The octopus wore a sinister smile: "Does it hurt? I heard that while a mermaid's tail is the strongest, it's also the most fragile. Your spiritual power is stored in your tail. If I nail it like this, won't you become useless?"
The Mermaid King trembled with pain, yet the coldness in his eyes didn't diminish in the slightest.
