Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Triggering an Unknown Dangerous Boss

Josh curled his lips, patting the big guy reassuringly: "Go find me a little doll."

The big guy scratched his head and quickly left.

People around had been watching Josh's actions, and seeing that the big guy got instructions from Josh, they couldn't help becoming vigilant.

They watched as the big guy randomly dug out a bunch of rag dolls from a trash can, dissatisfied and discarding them.

The crowd frowned in confusion.

"What are they planning to do?"

"I've already checked that trash can. It's full of useless ragged dolls."

"Is there some hidden trick to it?"

The big guy found a rag doll wearing a little red dress with golden twin pigtails from the trash, nodded in satisfaction, and returned to Josh's side.

Josh took the doll, nodded in satisfaction, and said to the big guy and the little black dog beside him, "Don't let anyone get close to me."

The big guy nodded.

The little black dog barked twice.

Josh formed a Dharma Seal with one hand, chanting softly, a faint blue mysterious light swirled at her fingertips.

She placed her fingertips on the forehead of the rag doll, as tall as her arm, and slowly closed her eyes.

After a while.

The little doll slowly opened its eyes and jumped from Josh's hand.

Meanwhile, Josh seemed to lose consciousness instantly, slumping against the audience seats like a clown that lost its soul, perfectly merging with the entire dimension scene.

The people were amazed as they watched the resurrected rag doll, "What's going on?"

"Is that little doll a monster?"

"Impossible! I just saw this doll when digging through the trash, it had no consciousness at all!"

"Then what is going on?"

Not only the players in the dimension were shocked, but also the audience in the bullet screen.

"! What's going on? That doll had no detectable spiritual power waves before."

"Is it a mechanical doll? A wind-up one?"

"Then why did she manipulate the monster to find this doll from the trash can?"

"Is this doll another kind of monster?"

"Impossible, there's no system-triggered prompt."

"Then how did it start moving?"

Josh couldn't be bothered with the stunned gazes of the surrounding people, she ran directly to the poolside and jumped in without hesitation.

The dolphins were attracted by the commotion in the water, surrounding the little doll in the red dress and golden pigtails, sniffing it.

Upon confirming that it was indeed just a doll, they quickly dispersed.

The ragged doll body was very light, making it nearly impossible to dive underwater.

She could only hold onto the suction cups of the octopus's tentacles, exploring down bit by bit.

The octopus had half its tentacles above the water surface, with the other half beneath, extending into the depths.

Both dolphins and octopuses mostly stayed in shallow water, and land animals didn't dare approach the water surface.

Hence, there must be something dangerous hidden underwater, making them wary.

Based on her understanding of the game, the more dangerous the place, the higher the rewards.

This risk was worth exploring.

The pool was much deeper than she had imagined.

The further down she went, the darker it became.

Occasionally, bits of bone drifted by.

The deeper she went, the more bones there were, not only human bones but also various fish and oddly shaped monster bones.

Josh had already dived to the end of the octopus tentacles.

Below, a faint blue light flickered, like a firefly in the night.

But the octopus's tentacles were not long enough, the light was still far away.

It was difficult to dive further down with this lightweight doll body.

But since she was already here, she didn't want to give up.

Josh looked at the slowly sinking skulls around her, getting an idea.

She removed the red little dress from the doll, leaving only the skeletal body, leaped onto a skull, and curled herself into a ball.

Increasing density would allow her to sink faster.

Indeed, her body continued to sink steadily.

"Come here."

A low, ethereal voice suddenly came from below.

Josh couldn't help but have her heart swayed, quickly steadying her consciousness.

The luxurious and sensually deep voice echoed in the depths of the water, light and ethereal, like a sea demon's hum or an angel's chant.

Josh noticed the water waves moving above her.

She looked up and saw the octopus tentacles quickly retracting to the water surface, as if sensing some dangerous and terrifying existence.

The light below grew brighter.

Josh continued to sink, gradually discerning the situation at the bottom.

Underwater, various bones formed a seabed beach, icy blue gemstone-like crystal prisms grew from the bone beach, their lengths varying, reflecting glistening light.

And all these beams of light originated from the center of the beach.

The icy blue light enveloped a large, slender male mermaid.

[Players are advised to stay away from unknown monsters to avoid having their spiritual power polluted and being assimilated into dimension monsters!]

The mermaid's tail emitted a bizarrely enchanting, brilliant blue light.

At the tip of the tail were two inverted bone nails deeply embedded, continuously bleeding from its wounds.

Following the brilliantly colored tail upward was the masculine v-shaped torso, beautiful smooth skin, and streamlined, powerful yet not exaggerated muscles formed the upper body of the mermaid.

Further up, the mermaid had an extraordinarily gorgeous face, eyes elongated like sharp gem-like facets, deep-set features slightly European in appearance.

His lip color was strikingly beautiful like flower petals, full and hypnotically alluring.

The Adam's apple seductively moved, with bewitching voices resonating like musical notes.

"Human, did you come to make a wish?"

The mermaid's hands were still chained high, preventing him from bending down to free his tail.

Clearly a male, yet his hair was long, flowing like seaweed in the water.

Josh met those gem-like blue eyes.

She swore, they were the most beautiful pair of eyes she had seen in both her lives.

Josh was naturally defenseless against gemstones.

She couldn't help but draw closer, cupping the mermaid's face, praising, "Your eyes are more beautiful than gemstones."

"Heh…" The mermaid lowered his eyes and chuckled, Adam's apple gently trembling: "Come on, say your wish, I'll make it come true as long as you desire."

[Warning, you are under mental attack, please move away from the spiritual pollution source quickly, or you will be assimilated into a dimension monster in half an hour.]

[Warning, your Life Value has dropped to 60, please quickly move away from the spiritual pollution source.]

System warnings constantly popped up in her mind, while the luminous green game panel in front of her also emerged.

With only 3 points of attack power originally, her defense capability was pathetically weak. Almost instantly upon the mermaid's bewitching attack, she lost 40 points of Life Value.

Exactly 40 points, right on the edge of danger.

With Life Value below 60, her spiritual world would be polluted.
